Chapter images are scanned from a paperback, and look horrible
Left, image from eBook - Right, image found on Twitter posted by the artist. This is my favorite trilogy by this author, but the scan quality is hit or miss. The other two from this series have okay, not great, but okay chapter illustrations. Clearly plenty of detail has been lost scanning from a paperback. There are OCR errors as well, all the books I've bought in kindle from this author have them. It's readable if annoying.

Great story. Horrible spelling errors.
I gave this 5 stars based on the story. The incredible amount of text errors in this book are severely annoying. If I had not read this in hard copy several times when it was first published I would have been completely baffled as to the meaning of some sections.Even more baffling is the fact that people have been complaining for years about this kindle version and yet absolutely nothing has been done.

Love It
Winds of Change takes place immediately following Winds of Fate. There is a lot of action in this book as the Vale finally reaches out for the desperately needed help to deal with the fractured Heartstone. This is another amazing book by Mercedes Lackey. The characters are so alive and the story so compelling that you feel like you are in the story with everyone. Elspeth, Darkwind and the Gryphons' adventure continues one. I've read this series several times, it's one of my favorites!

Typos almost outnumber correct wording
Good story but this looks like an OCR generated text. Many, VERY many typos and improper use of italics and bold detract from the copy. If you are interested in this buy a paper version

It's a joy to read Lackey.
I have read many of Lackeys books. It is always a pleasure to be transported to this world of magic.

Bridge Book
Sort of typical for a book that serves to get you from the beginning to the end of a series; not a lot really goes on, except, perhaps, for a flurry of activity near the conclusion. Throw in a couple of deus ex machinas and it's over a lot faster than it started.

Valdemar by Mercedes Lackey
Winds series - there are three books in the Winds series and all three are very good. I've bought the entire Valdemar series and have reread them all several times. There is no sexual content, it is mostly innuendo, if there is any, between a couple or a pair and none of it is gratuitous which I don't care for at all. It is fantasy and well written to my thinking although I am not a pro. My Kindle copies had some glaring typos which bothered me somewhat, I wondered where the proof reader was But once I looked past them the story flowed well. When I bought the paperbacks (before Kindle days), there weren't any typos. I would recommend this entire series of Valdemar, and all the side stories as well.

A thrilling continuation
Mercedes Lackey continues a thrilling trilogy with an elaborate cast of characters. Fast paced and immersive I felt like I couldn’t put it down. Looking forward to delving into the 3rd book!
