VERY WELL MADE. ATTACHED THESE TO MY WOODEN 6'x10 FT GATE WITH A BAR SECURING IT ACROSS TOP. IT TOOK ON A 53 mph WIND AND A SECOND STORM OF OVER 75 MPH WINDS. LOST 3 150 YR OLD OAKS BUT GATE DIDN'T BUDGE.

Screws are horrible, not for use with green lumbar.
I purchased this for a barn door style garage door lock. They seem very well constructed with 1 major flaw. The screws that come with them are absolutely horrible. You MUST pre-drill the holes if you are planning on using the supplied screws. They are cross tip aka Phillips head and strip VERY easy. The rest of the product is good. Fits a dried 2x4 snug. Will not work with green lumbar has locking holes for grenade style pins. I can't give a 5 star rating due to the screws. I would recommend using lag bolts instead of screws if this is for outdoor use. But #10 decking screws will work also.
