Malawi (Bradt Travel Guides)

My husband and I spent three weeks in Malawi in April, 2018. Tom had served in the Peace Corps in Nsanje in 1965, 66, and 67, and we had been back with our teenage children in 1988. We had old friends to visit and would also have time to ourselves. This guidebook was excellent. I used it continually as I made plans. And the sidebar histories and articles enriched our travel every day. Without this book, we would never have turned on the dirt road to Dedza Pottery for lunch. What a delightful place. Malawi is such a beautiful country and such a tourist secret. Thank you for the respect you show for the country and the people in your guidebook.

This is, by far, the best travel guide for Malawi. LoneyPlanet can't compete with the thoroughness of Brandt for Malawi.

I took it with me on my notebook. Very handy to have information on the National Parks with me.

Just what I wanted prior to a trip there

Not used a Brady guide before but was impressed - it’s very informative- an update would be great but info was still largely accurate.
