8Bitdo Pro 2 Wired USB Controller for Switch, PC, Android, Steam & Raspberry Pi (G Classic Edition) (Nintendo Switch)

This is the best controller on the market made by a third party company, if you want a good one for emulators and you're fed up of cheap poor quality controllers that die after a year or two. Although I would say it's in the premium category, almost as good as original PSX and SNES controllers.

Great controller for someone who doesn't mind the old school feel of being tethered to the console. The cable is a nice length, and no more controller dying mid gaming session. I use it with my switch and it works perfectly.

As always with 8BitDo, the Pro 2 Controller has fantastic build quality and feels great in hand. It, the shape and feel are ideal for SNES, GBA, and similar games. The buttons are my favorite part: smooth, clicky, and satisfying, even if they can feel a bit slippery at times. The sticks are good, though sliding near the rim isn’t as smooth as I’d like. I had one weird issue after dropping it a few times: the triggers came off, but they snap back on easily, so it’s not a dealbreaker. The cable is a bit stiff and heavy, which felt odd. I really liked the d-pad, nothing extraordinary, but it does the job wel, and the rubber select and start buttons feel great and give that classic SNES/NES vibe. Overall, it’s very grippy, comfortable, and a fantastic wired controller for the price. 8/10.

I got this to use for my raspberry pi, which I use for retro games. This is a perfect Controller to use for this.

Good quality for the price, the '8BitDo Ultimate Software' for it does a good job of setting buttons and so on. The little star button on the left could be used as a normal button, but there's absolutely no way for Windows to recognise it as anything sadly. It would also be nice for the 2 little buttons on the back to be used as separate buttons as well, as they're only used as copies of the main buttons.

Right analogue stick has -stick-drift with very little use after only 2 months. Quality of the face buttons are poor and noisy too and feels cheap to click.

Bought 2 of these because everything about them is great. But both times a single button or stick has broken within a few weeks of low stress, no impact activity. Durability seems an issue to me despite how nice these controllers actually are for the short time they fully work.

8bitdo controllers has best D-Pad on market. I prefer this controller over original Snes to play Snes games. Especially you will notice on F-zero game, it's more comfortable on 8bitdo pro 2. When i played first time on 8bitdo controller, i found out that Snes D-pad is not comfortable:)) 8bitdo is real comfort for retro gamers.

Me encanta este mando. Tenía dudas de cual poder comprar ya que juego en la plataforma Steam y tengo un Mac y a veces hay problemas con el enlace del Bluetooth con el Mac y el Steam pero en este caso es maravilloso. No tengo ningún problema y el mando no tiene latencia o si tiene no es algo que te perturbe en el juego. Es muy cómodo y ergonómico. Yo tengo las manos pequeñas y no se me queda grande y lo agarro muy bien. Lo recomiendo sin duda. Se ve muy buena la calidad de los de los botones y del mando no tienes la sensación de tener un mando barato creo que es una muy buena compra. Ya llevo jugando con él unos meses y no lo cambio ni de broma y lo recomiendo a todos los que me preguntan por un mando.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Controller, nutze ihn für Emulation auf dem Computer. Die Steuerelemente sind gut verarbeitet und der Controller funktionierte sogar an einem alten Laptop mit Windows 7 ohne irgendwelche Treiber oder die Zusatzsoftware, obwohl offiziell min. Windows 10 vorhanden sein soll. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Start und Select-Knöpfe sind so weit in der Mitte, dass man diese kaum drücken kann, wenn man seinen Griff nicht verändert. Ich habe mir das Problem gelöst, indem ich Start + Select auf die beiden Joysticks gelegt habe, welche man beide auch "reindrücken" kann. So muss man nicht ständig den Handgriff verändern.

Seem less gaming, though the joysticks need adjustment for sensitivity, ober all, the gamepad do the job. No lag, highly Recommended!

Excelente joystick! Sensacional, funciona com tudo (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, Nintendo Switch e mais). Leve, resistente e com toques precisos. Vale a pena baixar o software do fabricante. Utilizo mais no PC. Depois deste recomendo os joysticks de PS5 ou PS4, também são ótimos e não perdem em nada pra este.
