Cascade Platinum Dishwasher Cleaner, 3 count

I’ve been using another brand for years along with vinegar (well water with lots of calcium) but bought this on a whim. Wowee what a difference. I’m going to do another round tomorrow as I found a whole bunch of soft gunk along the door inside after the first wash. I did wipe all that out. It already looks and smells way better. Did the second wash this morning and it is totally clean now.

PROS: DOES THE JOB - I use when dishwasher starts to smell in between washes - IT DOES keep it smelling fresh IN BETWEEN washes, with dirty dishes in it (I run dishwasher every other day) PRICE - OK, A LITTLE PRICIER than Walmart, but only by about a couple buck AND I can get it delivered free with Prime. I pay about six bucks and change at Walmart, I paid about eight and change here. Considering I am isolating, well worth the couple bucks to have delivered. LENGTH IT LASTS - Keeps my dishwasher smelling good for about THREE weeks, if I'm lucky. A little disappointed in longevity. CONS: SCENT is strong and I am sensitive to scent. But the strong scent starts to dissipate after a few washes. IF you are sensitive to scent, after you run the dishwasher with the pod in it, before you open the dishwasher, open some windows and take a deep breath, bolt out of the room and go to another room til it cools down. It also doesn't last as long as I would like, I need to use about every three weeks and I run dishwasher every other day and rinse dishes lightly before I put in dishwasher.

I moved into an apartment with a significant amount of grease residue in the dishwasher from previous tenants. We had cleaned some of it out, but some of it was very stubborn. One of these tabs removed the residue quickly. For the price, you can’t beat it!

I’ve used other dishwasher cleansers, like affresh and the cascade does a much better job cleaning my dishwasher. I leaves my stainless steel interior gleaming and takes care of any odors I get in my washer. It seems a little pricy, but I only have to use it every 3 months. I have a fancy KitchenAid dishwasher that is one of my most prized possessions and I just look at it as maintenance, so spending a little to keep it in top condition doesn’t bother me.

machine sas noticably cleaner. i was using vinagar, but this works better

Thought I was getting 1 pack that contained multiple use packs not just 1 pack for 17.99 Big RIP OFF to anybody.
