Quality case for good price
We ordered a different one first and when it came in it looked & felt so cheaply made. I told my husband we could find better & to send back. Then we found this one. So much more nice. Look feel craftsmanship all very good for the price.

Well made, looks good, and convenient.
It is a very well crafted box. Drilled a hole in the back so I could run a charger cable thru it for my smart watch. Enjoy the draw to hold my watch tools and other items. Looks great on my dresser as well

The (Thinking) Cheapskate's Watchbox
The Upshot: When you get tired of storing your watches in haphazard, scattershot fashion, but aren't ready to spend a significant percentage of your collection's investment-value just to keep 'em in one place, this does the job. You have to be okay with a rough-hewn finish, and the finish of the hinges and handle are, let's say, appropriate to the price, but the insides are well-done and pampering to your timepieces, which at the end of the day is the big deal here. Recommended.

Great design, Materials and Fit & Finish are lacking
The design of this box is good, the view of watches is much bigger and clearer than most watch boxes of similar price and having a platform for a daily watch is a nice feature. Plastic hinges and plastic window make long term durability questionable... because of this I have to take a very light touch when opening and closing, and especially when cleaning a finger print / smudge off the plastic window. The "rustic wood" part of the description understates the amount of obvious wood filler and glue used, 'salvaged wood' would have been a better description. The fit of the plastic window was not good on the one I received. As seen in the photo, on the up and downswing the closure rubs up against one of the sides of the box so much so that it can prevent it from closing. For the price I wasn't expecting the box to be made of oak and crystal, but the fact that I have to often have to force the window before it closes is very disappointing.

What you see aint what you get ?
I received a pretty cheap box roughly maded for the price i’ve paid …you can notice the glue on my pictures and the fissures on the wood kind of desapointed ! 👎
