This is not 2230 size, but 2242.
This is an M2 card that gives you a micro SD card slot. It arrived in a large standardised box which was originally intended for much larger cards. It contained drivers and a screw. I bought this to give a Minis Forum PC some additional storage, in place of a WiFi card that I did not need or use. While this claims to be 2230 compatible, and it does have the screw hole for it, the card size is larger (2242). So bear this in mind if you are using a small device. There is a cable connector in the way on my motherboard. I did manage to get the card to screw down, over the connector. It didn't damage it but I am really insecure about it. The card itself works fine. I had to install the drivers to get it to work, which are on the included CD. (This is not a USB device so will need drivers). It reads and writes to micro SD cards without any problems. The only real issue is it's hard to switch them out. Taking the computer apart every time is going to be annoying, so you want to put in a larger SD card as more permanent storage.
