Nice style, useful
Looks nice, seems sturdy and stable, easy to assemble. Before I bought this, I read reviews about this (and similar items) that said it was difficult to put together. I think it's fine, as long as you pay attention and follow the directions. If you've assembled stuff like IKEA before - where you have to pay attention to details in the instructions - then you should have no problems putting this together. I originally bought this to use as a wine rack, but ended up needing it as a bookcase. Probably buy another one for wine. As for style, my wife hasn't complained about it yet, and she hates bookshelves and books, so I guess it's ok. The only downside to this style is that when you put books on it in the usual manner - spine out - then on the right side shelves, you see the back of the book. To see the front of the book, you'd have to have the spine on the inside - wasn't ago does that?!? It's fine if you have just one book on the shelf - like an oversized picture book - but I'll probably use the right hand side for wine. Which brings up an obvious element of this bookshelf; you don't need bookends, but you also can't put knick-knacks on it. Although speakers should fit just fine.

Original piece to add to your living space!
First let me say this bookcase is beautiful! I love it. And the price range is ๐ I paid around 110$ It wasnt hard to assemble but I probably made a mistake somewhere because there was no way for the grey ugly metal that supports the back to not show on the front! I dissambled it and re did it and still couldn't make it face the back of the shelves! But if it really bothers me ill just paint it black! Otherwise I love it! And it's taller then I expected so thats a plus Last thing ; its not really sturdy if you put a lot of books! As in, it could easily loose its balance thats why the fact they added the nails to stick it to the wall is great ; i have three toddlers and when I saw how flimsy it was when i added the books I got concerned but now that its attached to the wall it's perfect.
