Crystal is made of what?

It scratches very easily. It’s not the good Crystal. Mine also leaked.

Hard to believe a waterproof watch would let mud in. What is the difference?

Is the negative display easy to read?

It’s not Casio’s easiest to read negative display. Super legible in good lighting. Pretty hard to read in low light without using the backlight. Still a sharp watch.

A value for money rugged outdoor watch

The negative screen remains quite easy to read even in low light conditions, and the mud-resistance is good. The buttons are quite hard to press (because of the way they have been sealed against mud) but that's the price of having a more rugged watch. The vibration alarm is incredibly useful for setting alerts without disturbing the people around you. Finally, the Khaki/Black colorway is, in my opinion, quite good looking!
