Amazingly Clean!
Love this soap! When I want to give my hair a deep clean I use this. My hair feels so clean and this is less expensive than a clarifying shampoo but works the same for me. I also used this to get rid of what the doctor said was eczema on my kid’s skin. I use this all over my body with a loofa to get deep clean. My skin is soft after using this and lotion application. I will be using this for the rest of my life.

First time trying Aleppo soap
UPDATE: I love this soap, and will probably only use it from now on. I did wash my hair with it, but it was too strong for my hair. It does lather very well on hair. It leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh. I now love the earthy smell it has.I read about Aleppo soap and was curious to try it. I've used it once so far and my skin felt so nice and smooth. It has a very very strong smell. Just something to be aware of if you have never been exposed to Aleppo soap. I am slowly getting used to it. It lathers very well. It will be interesting to see how long a bar lasts my family of 4.

Smooth skin. Period.
The smell of this soap is just ok, but the way your skin feels after negates that. I love this soap. Your skin will thank you. I even use it as a shampoo sometimes.

Jury Still Out
After having run out of my Greek olive oil soap, I decided to give this a try. I'd never hear of Aleppo Soap and was curious to see if it lived up to the hype. I've been using it now for about a week. Pros: 1) Lathers much better than olive oil soap; 2) Very moisturizing (just unsure if more so than olive oil soap); 3) Rinses well; 4) Seems very cleansing. Cons: 1) These bars are BIG. Unless you've got Jolly Green Giant size hands, I suggest cutting a bar in half; 2) Although not quite as strong, it still has that same ashtray smell as olive oil soap. If you don't mind that, fine. For some this would be a deal breaker; 3) Seems to be on the pricey side compared to olive oil soap which is a better value considering how long a bar lasts. But maybe these puppies will surprise me. Bottom line: So far I think it's nice but not convinced it lives up to the hype. I think cocoa butter soap is perhaps even more moisturizing, smells nicer, and comes in a size bar I can manage better. It's also in Castile Soap.
