I absolutely love these stencils! Great quality and keeps my writing straight in my planner.

As a relative newbie to calligraphy (a year), I have been using a ruler to measure and draw lines on envelopes and paper. When I saw this, I was a little skeptical. It seemed pricey for a piece of plastic. I am now a convert. It's incredibly easy to use and sturdy. I can draw lines in a fraction of the time I did before. It also comes in a variety of widths that cover your standard piece paper as well as long and short envelopes. Perfect. Worth every penny for the time and frustration it has saved me. Don't hesitate. You won't regret it.

Would buy again. Too bad that they should make three different sizes for writing on blank paper. And use a thicker plastic so when you write it doesn't move all over the place. When you do, please let me know!

This is just a dumb set of plastic templates I needed because my handwriting is so miserable. The thickness of the plastic is great enough to be useful but not so great as to be cumbersome. The set came with three templates. Two have lettering slots about four inches in length. One has four slots with widths from ¼ inch to ½ high. The other short template has three slots about 3/8 inch wide. The third template is the one I use most of the time. It has three slots about eight inches in length. One slot is about 5/16 inch high; the other two are narrower (about ¼ inch and 3/8 inches). While my lettering is still not beautiful, at least it is (mostly) readable. It is funny how something so simple can be so useful.
