Zebra Clip-On Multi Color Multifunctional Pen, Clear Green Barrel (B4SA1-G)

Mh husband has bought hundreds of these. He buys them every year for work Christmas gifts. I have a few myself and use them all the time. It writes really well, and I love that. It has a pencil and eraser as well as four colored pens.

I was hesitant to drop the money for this pen when there are other multi color pens available at much lower prices. I give it a shot because reviews were decent and I particularly liked that replacement nibs can be purchased, which is a feature I was seeking. I have been 100% pleased with this pen. I have been using it every day for my waitress job (I like to write appetizers in red and the rest of the order in green) and have yet to have any of the nips run out. Other pens I'd previously purchased ran out in weeks. I haven't really used the pencil but it seems like it works. I like that the clip has a spring so that I won't break the clip off one day when clipping it back on my apron. I make sure to always retract whichever color I was using before putting it in my apron to make sure nothing jams. I'm not sure why there are any negative reviews aside from possible quality control. If you get a bad one, I recommend requesting a replacement instead of just returning.

As a special education teacher, I often need multiple colors to code things or help students differentiate between items or just to provide choice. I also need a pencil for testing situations. This combination is perfect. I hook it onto my badge holder and carry it with me daily. I have ordered three over the years but only because I lost the first ones. None have ever run out of ink.

Great price, great multi-functional tool. I’m able to use this multi-functional pen while editing notes and while writing/correcting evaluation reports. I love the use of the different colors to identify and prioritize the importance of each task and entry when writing in my journal.

I love this pen. I use it all the time. The colors are vibrant, the feel is nice, the action is reliable and not overly loud. ( I hate noises, I'm picky that way ) Despite being an all plastic construction, nothing feels cheap. I bought a bunch as gifts, nobody has had any problems of significance. I'd give it 5 stars, but that there is some tendency for the ink to glob up on one of my colors. It just means that every day or so I need to swipe it off on some scratch paper so that I don't get a random ink glob on an official document. It retracts cleanly enough, leaving a visible track on the inside of the pen that it has been globby in the past. But there's no danger of it getting on my clothes, just on my documents. They sell refills of the ink cartridges. I should probably get one and assume that I just have a bad one in my pen. But the ink is part of the pen, so it's part of my review. For the price, just buy 2. :-) Also, the eraser is laughably small. Good for emergencies, not much more.

As a minimalist, this was a life changing find! I like to have different colored pens and a pencil available at all times but hate carrying around the extra clutter. This 4 color pen and pencil combo is truly my dream come true. All my writing tools in one! Couldn't ask for more. The clip-on feature was an extra added bonus, and now something that I can't fathom living without! I have also purchased a similar pen by Bazics and prefer the look, feel and features of this one. I don't even mind paying extra for the Zebra version because it truly is that much better!

I bought this pen back in July 2017. It is almost 2022. I have obviously had to refill the ink pieces, but in all this has been one of the best pens I have ever used. I never lend it out, and if a person takes it without my permission, it is such an uncommon pen, it is easy to track down. The ink ALWAYS flows smoothly, the point is nice and fine, and it has the value of 4 in 1! I am a nurse, and mostly use the black and red, and the pencil portion. I use blue rarely and green even less. The clip broke about a few months after I bought the pen. But the rest of the pen is fine. It has written out many SBAR sheets and labeled many an item and has never let me down. If only humans could be as reliable as this pen, our world would be a much better place. I plan on upgrading to a more expensive zebra pen but this pen has served me well.
