Crosley Furniture Seaside Hall Tree, Shoe Rack Bench

Product took about an hour and a half for me to put together by myself and being handy with tools. With that said, directions were concise, clear and used both images and piece/hardware numbers to keep the process as dummy-proof as possible. The piece is SOLID, well put together and doesn't have even the slightest hint of being a cheap unit. We've had it in the house now about three months and it doesn't wobble, stands up to being stood on and having a three-year-old jump off it, and the hooks hold anything worth hanging. Very happy with the purchase, and especially liked that I was able to visualize it in the space before purchasing it. Attached are two photos: one of the visualized piece and the other is the actual unit in place. Pretty spot on! Well worth the money and arrived well packaged and no damage whatsoever.

This is a great piece of furniture. I was needing a home for coats, backpacks, purses for our entry way/dining room. We have an older home without a coat closet and everybody’s stuff would just get thrown on the dining table or floor. I bought this with the matching pantry and absolutely love both pieces. This is about 3 inches too wide for the space I have but I measured before and knew ahead of time that it was a little too large. I was in love and bought it anyway. It covers about 1 1/2” of trim on each side but doesn’t block the window or door on either side. It took me about 2 hours to assemble myself and is a very sturdy piece of furniture that will last a long time. Love it!

The hang tree looks like a nice solid piece. Exactly as pictured. The cabinet below glides open really well for now, but I do have concerns. Not on any manufacturing fault, just the actual design of the cabinet might be susceptible to wearing out due to my kiddos. We haven’t attached it to the wall yet (we will), but it doesn’t show any signs of wobbling. Looks good! It was delivered with a dent in the front of the bench (shipping issue) and BisonOffice customer support went above and beyond. They guided me through every step so we didn’t have to take it all apart and exchange the piece. I’ll have to touch it up, but I’m pleased it.

Well, it's up and looks great. Pros: I love it. It looks great in the space and is weight bearing and the hooks are very secure. Cons: - It isn't as tall as I thought it would be. It's not a big deal to me, but I was under the impression it was taller. - It's a bit of a monster to assemble. The horizontal piece that fits between the back panel and the bench wouldn't fit into the other pieces and wasn't flush with the rest of the unit, which caused it to be impossible to attach the bench. I opted to cut it down by about 1/8th of an inch. It fit perfectly after that, but I'll have to get a cushion because you can see the cut. This could be put together by one person if you're handy and can figure out how to troubleshoot like I had to if the pieces don't go together perfectly.

I chose this piece over a fine furniture piece from a specialty furniture store because I really liked how it looked. When I had finally put it together, it looked every bit as I expected. It's functionality is even better than I expected. And, I have received many compliments on it. If there is a negative, it is the fact that it does require some skill to put it together. And, whatever you do, take the time to put in all of the panel screws. You will be tempted to allow the back panel to float and skip putting in the 20+ screws. This will compromise the sturdiness of the frame. To this end, the screw holes are not predrilled. They are marked but it will be your screwdriver technique that will allow for the hole to tap and the screw to go in straight. Patience will pay off with this piece. Highly reccomended.

Very SOLID product. One person put together in 1.5 hours. It looks beautiful and it is not cheap material. Very pleased. Do measure because we understood it was 60" tall but most people leaving reviews expected it to be taller. I am happy with the height of it since it was purchased to keep my childrens items put away after school. Very very pleased. The only thing I would say is that they included a magnet for the bottom bench but no instructions to install it. Would be nice to know where the magnet goes. Highly recommend this beautiful prodcut and the ease it was to put together. Oh, Amazon initially sent a white one, even though I ordered a black one. They picked it up two days later and this was delivered properly 3 days later. Very pleased with Amazon and their service and products. Expecially this one.

Easily assembled. Good quality. Looks nice. Arrived with a damaged piece but I contacted Crosley and they shipped a replacement right away.

We recently moved across the country and I left our “shoe tree” in the previous home. I needed something for our laundry room that could hold backpacks, shoes, and odds and ends from 5 people coming in and out. I looked at a lot of different options and styles on Amazon and ultimately settled on this one based on esthetic and reviews. It honestly is really nice. It’s solid and doesn’t feel cheap. Yes you have to put it together but it was pretty easy compared to a lot of other things I have had to configure lately from Amazon. It’s modern but also farmhouse, and coastal… it could work for any. I love that the shoes are hidden in the cabinet below. It just keeps things looking clean. Buy it! This is the one.

Great solid built piece

Really works well

Love this as we do not have a front door closet

Quality unit. Easy to put together. Nice hardware. Although I did measure the space it would go ... it was shorter then I would have liked. I am 5’7” and I have to bend down to hang a coat.

We ordered this now because we were not sure if it would be available in the Spring. It sits in our shed, unopened. The shipping box was a bit damaged but doesn’t appear significant. Will report on May 2022.
