VELCRO Brand Sticky Back for Fabrics, 10 Ft Bulk Roll of Tape, Black

This is a better than having to stitch on the velcro, but it's difficult to peel the backing off. Use this for pockets that don't have zippers or buttons. Only time will tell if the adhesive will last through many washings.

Super sticky. I just put up a linen door curtain yesterday using this tape. It was easy to use--measure, cut. it seems lightweight--won't weigh the curtains down. If it falls, I'll update my rating. So far, so good. It was worth the cost.

Easy to use. I’m using it to put some material inside the glass doors in my kitchen. Package comes with both sides, the one for the material and the one for the inside of the door so it works great for that so far. I also plan to use it to hold some beadboard pieces that I am going to out up inside a shelf - it’s an experiment, but I think it will work because as I took this out of the package and began to use it, it had no problem wanting to grab onto an adhere to my hand :)

Holding up okay after 9 months daily use but we did wind up stapling it up because it was used at the top of a doorway on a shower curtain. A little less sticky then I thought.

Wasn't thrilled that there are minimal directions on the box, and it refers you to their website for full directions. The directions on the website were extremely hard to find AND then they specially recommended against using it to hang items. We specifically bought it to hang fabric that was 2ft (vertical) by roughly 12ft (horizontal) to a galvanized metal surface. Our time and options were limited so we proceeded and took extra steps to give it the best chance possible to succeed. Specifically... Started by wiping the metal surface with a microfiber cloth, then wiped it down with alcohol and microfiber cloth. Then attached the hook side of the Velcro to it, which was cut into 4 inch pieces and spaced about 2 inches apart. To optimize adhesion to the cloth, we first attached packing tape on the fabric where the soft side of the Velcro would go then pulled it off to get off any dust or loose fibers. Then we just barely attached the soft half to its mate on the metal (Top of soft piece just barely touching the bottom of the rough half already attached to the metal.) The fabric was positioned then firmly pressed into the soft side once piece at a time. We slowly and carefully worked across the 12 feet. We then carefully separated the cloth from the metal and allowed both to sit overnight. (The instructions said to wait at least 24hrs for full strength.) The next day we reattached the fabric to the metal and firmly pressed the Velcro together. Everything held for the day and a half that we needed. At that point we carefully pulled them apart and stored everything for later use. We were very happy the way it turned out. Strongly believe the extra prep work made the difference.

Doesn’t really stick to fabric, it gets loose after awhile when i try sticking it on what i need. But all it needs is just a push back to stick back, but not sure how long til it comes back off. Overall though, it’s good just wish it was a permanent stick.

Well, it held for one day of wearing but that's it. It's a big roll so, I'll keep trying! Ok update, found a GREAT use for velcro. This is a solution for keeping tops ON our shoulders, cut a small piece of velcro and attach it to your bra at the shoulder and press your top. No more unintentional off the shoulder look!

These do not stick to fabric AT ALL. Complete waste of money. And yes, I let it adhere for days before even trying to use it. Absolute horrible product.

Doesn’t glue well to fabric. Should have bought the standard one and just stitched it to fabric.

I bought. This velcro to replace the velcro do up on horse bandages. It was easy to cut and place on the bandages. Worked well, never had a problem coming undone even after several washes. Doing it myself saved me money. Plus i have quite a bit left. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic product! Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Adheres to fabric and walls alike (I wanted my curtains to stick to the wall to help with blacking-out the room) and so easy and convenient to use.
