Synology Rail Kit Sliding RKS-02

Work as expected and very sturdy.

I thought these were pricy at first. Once I opened the box I saw why.... incredibly well built solid rails.

A must have for the NAS - work very well and easy to install.

Installed and worked as needed for a sound system install in Alaska. Couldn't have asked for a smoother product!

The rails are well made and rugged but require a 24 inch deep rack at a minimum. You'll also have to have square holes in the back and preferably the front as well. I tried using rack extensions but the rack posts push the backs of the rails inward and the NAS wont slide in. These are also overkill for smaller rackmount units like the RS820+. Just a set of generic rails + the "ears" on the front of the unit will work fine. If you have a large rack and a large Synology NAS to mount in it, these rails are probably perfect.

Easy install. Solid product. Though they are supposed to come with the RackStation for pretty a much better price.

I purchased three of these for three separate projects. Was unable to use any of them due to the lack of depth dimensions. None of them fit into the server racks I purchased because the server rack depths were just short of the length of the rails. Synology has great products but need to make sure they include all the specifications so the proper products are ordered.

No issues. Worked great.

Genuine Synology, properly engineered and manufactured. It's perfect!

Nice and easy to install. My only beef is they didn't come with the Synology 1219+ I bought. But if you're willing to fork out the extra cash they work great.
