Putting the LOCK ON TITE ! THE BEST!
This is made to fix a bearing on a shaft to help it became a very tight fit, and works on rifle liners to install in a drilled barrel just give it 24 hours to set properly for any humidity and temperance variance. USE GLOVES AND EYE SHIELDING !

Works for high heat purposes
A little pricey, but couldn't find it in the store. Was shipped amd received quickly and seemed to work well for a few weeks. My tractor has one cylinder that gets hot and keeps pushing out the valve sleeve. Scored the sleeve and used this to help hold it in place. Worked great until the head cracked then had no choice but to replace it. Was trying to avoid that lol. I will keep around for other projects (hopefully not the tractor again!)

Wow stuff!
The green is the strongest of the LocTite group, and the higher the number, the stronger it is. That means this is the Hercules of the family. It requires heating to over 500 degrees F to break the bond. If you are using it on a close-fit application, dry-fit it first, as there is very little time to make adjustments. And it is 50ml or product - someone reviewed and said the bottle was only half full. That is correct - they put the 50ml into a container that would easily hold 100, but is so much easier to apply with the large bottle. Many machine components that we use actually require the use of this product for assembly. It works!

Quality product
When used with the appropriate primer forms, a very strong adhesive for slip fit applications. One thing to note, is that it will set very quickly if used with the primer, so plan on assembling immediately.

Does the job.
Oil seal failed and tore up the bearings inside my mowers gearbox. Used during reassembly of new components to facilitate retention. It has been over a year and several hundred hours of use. No issues.

This product works great
This product works great, If you are using it correctly. Make sure to thoroughly clean both parts with break cleaner or acetone first.

Used to retain the pully side bearing in a Delphi design Aveo alternator which knurls the bearing into the front case. Popping the old Alternator bearing out destroys the knurl, so I am retaining the new 6203 bearing with this Loctite Green. Starts drying in about 15 minutes, and rock hard the next day. This alternator design places all lateral force on this bearing, so is critical not to move. Not an expert, but it looks like the loctite will outlast the new bearing it is retaining. Do notice the volume though - it is a good size container, and provides me enough to rebuild a fleet of Delphi alternators.
