Revolution R270 High-Speed Touchscreen Toaster, 2-Slice Smart Toaster with Patented InstaGLO Technology & Gluten-Free, Panini & 16 Bread Modes

This toaster has a touch screen allowing you to select about 15 different types of foods you can prepare with the toaster. I bought the special panini/grilled cheese attachments that goes in the right side of the toaster. I also bought the warming rack. My daughter at first said she had seen a YouTube video where somebody used it and their bread was still not toasted, and in our household we think that's gross so right off the bat before we even tried it we were skeptical of its quality. So we put two pieces of bread in the panini maker, closed it and put it in the toaster, selected the number three after selecting a picture of Panini on the touch screen and pressing the Go Button. The toaster automatically lowers whatever your preparing which is kind of cool. So we waited and it was done pretty quick. During the preparation the toaster doesn't just apply heat in one way like a traditional toaster, it has different phases during the preparation based on what type of food you are preparing, things like toasting, crisping, and other such action keywords. So it finished quickly we took it out cut it in half and ate half each and could not believe how great it came out. My daughter said that the YouTube channel it was wrong which is a huge statement because YouTube to her is kind of like what encyclopedias were to the previous generation. Since then we have tried the Pop-Tart setting, which worked great, they don't call it Pop-Tart probably for copyright reasons, I think it was called pastry, we've made lots of regular toast and we've used the warming rack that sits on top of the toaster and is in my picture on the left side to heat things up like muffins. Everything seems to work really great. At the moment it seems to be everybody's favorite Appliance in the kitchen.

The Revolution toaster is an upgrade over my existing toaster in every way. Looks better, cooks faster and gives you more control over exactly how you want your bread/bagel/waffle etc toasted. You might think a touchscreen on a toaster is a gimmick, but it's actually very useful. It shows pictures of how toasted your item will be, so you know what you're getting. It takes the guesswork out of it so you don't have to waste bread learning where your favorite setting is. It also works amazingly fast. Almost too fast...turn around and you'll miss the countdown and finish chimes. My 1 year old LOVES watching this toaster. Too bad it's so fast, it would be nice to occupy his attention for a little longer... Aside from how fun it is to use and how intuitive the controls are, the results are great. Toasted, crispy bread that's still soft and chewy on the outside. Bagels have just the right amount of crunch on top and chewiness inside. Most impressive might be how well it toasted glutel free bread from frozen. That's a difficult thing to get right. I was shocked at how well the gluten free bread was toasted. Overall, I never thought I would have such a great experience with a toaster. Love this thing.

This toaster broke after only 6 months of use . The motor to extract the toast so I have to use chop sticks to get the bread out. When I tried to get a replacement they just put me on their mailing list . Terrible product definitely not worth the price tag. Very disappointed Do not buy this product I wanted to leave no stars but they made me choose

The Revolution toaster is awesome! It looks great and is really fun and easy to use. I’ve enjoyed buying lots of different types of bread and trying the different settings. They really did their research, each setting is perfect. My favorite is the cinnamon raisin bread. It toasts for half the time, then browns for half the time, so it’s nice and crispy, but still soft and chewy on the inside. I also love the warmer setting. Simply set a croissant or treat that won’t fit inside the toaster on top and it warms it right up! The other nice setting is the reheat function … if you leave your toast on the counter and forget it, just reheat it later and it’s perfect! It also cooks from frozen, which is so nice for those breads like Ezekiel Bread that mold quickly. Pop it in the freezer and the Revolution will toast it to perfection!

Overall I love this. It’s expensive. Does work well. Looks awesome. Easy to use. I like the crumb tray and how it reminds us to empty it. The toasting accuracy isn’t great. If I’m toasting 7 pieces of bread. Each time I toast, I have to go lighter and less time or the consecutive ones burn. But overall it’s great

It's a great toaster but it burned out and went cold after owning it with moderate use for 18 months. Had I spent $50 then I could accept that easier, but a $400 toaster should last several years and come with an included 3 yr warranty. Sadly, I just checked and it comes with a 1 year warranty unless you pay more for an extended. I feel like I DID pay more, hundreds more for a toaster that should be better made. I haven't dealt with CS yet so we'll see. If they send me a new toaster then I'll update this review. ... UPDATE***: And that's exactly what happened! Happily, after I contacted Customer Service they promptly emailed back (even called me when I missed their original email, wow) and sent some troubleshooting guidance. When that didn't work they asked for a photo of the SN Placard on the bottom of the toaster, a copy of the original Amazon order, and they immediately sent out a new toaster. They even paid for shipping both ways! Couldn't have asked for better service and wish more companies who sell premium products would take this as a lesson. This toaster is back to 5 stars!

Has a variety of breads and shades for everyone liking. It has a nice modern look to it. Easy to use with the touchscreen and the crumb tray at the bottom making it easy to clean. It is stainless makes it great for durability and it's wide enough to use gadgets for grill cheese sandwiches. The only con I have is it's very expensive. It works great though.

my son zach told me to order it it was a great gift but cooks very fast i would put it on level 1 2 or 3 if you don't want it to be burnt but a fantastic toaster for my bday and works well if i am getting ready for work and running late it cooks faast as hell which is perfect for me Zach is the best at resserching everything so i see why he wanted me to buy a $449.99 toaster. 🥪
