Grip length is about a 1/2 inche. Overall length is about 2 inches

Product details says this requires a cleco pliers. it looks like you just pull down the lower ‘jaw’ with fingers. how is a pliers used? thank you.

The springs on these little clamps is much too strong to open with your fingers. You really do need a Cleco pliers to operate them. Ordinary pliers won't work. It has to be a Cleco.

These work great to hold two pieces of metal together if you don't want to drill them
