The bible is beautiful and the hard cover is vibrant in color and the fabric feels nice to the touch.Its thick but petite and easy to carry and hold.Pages are not thin as to see much bleed through from the type on the other side of the page; but not thick enough to use regular highlighters, felt or gel pens; maybe the ones that are no-bleed? But i havnt tried them.Love the larger print and font is easy to read.Love that it is a single column AND each verse starts at the margin, its easier on the eyes.Love that the words of Jesus are in red.I got it for about twenty-six monies and this is a great deal!!Great for gift giving. Is packaged with only a thin cardboard paper sleeve not a box nor wrapped. Glad it arrived in great condition.

It’s a very short Bible but thick. It’s a cloth covered board with florals all over it and it is absolutely gorgeous. The font is not too small. It’s true comfort print. I prefer a little larger print and darker, but this one is just fine, I have so many Bibles. Most of them are study Bibles. I am going to use this one just to read.

Oh she’s a beauty. Love the bold chapter headings. The font size is perfect. The outside is very sturdy and well made. This bible is perfect. I bought tabs that accentuate its beauty even more.

AMAZING!! Love it sooo much! Using it whenever I get the chance, it’s pretty big but that just means there’s more room to take notes.

I have spent a small fortune trying to find a journaling bible I can actually read without a magnifying glass with room for study notes, not so much for art. This is the first one that I really can comfortably read! I have the previous regular text version of this bible and tried very hard to make it work, but I absolutely could not read the small print. (I posted a review on it.) As the first reviewer said, this is a really chunky bible. Here are the reasons it is so large, and why I think this bible will work for me -- First, each verse starts on its own line. Each book starts on its own page. Both of these factors result in the bible having more pages, but I really appreciate these features. This bible does not have a concordance, maps or study guides. This does not matter to me because my reference materials are separate and I never use the ones that come in my other bibles anyway. There are nice margins with lightly dotted lines for notes that will be fine for my note taking purposes. Personally, I would have preferred no lines, and this might be important to you if you want to use the margins for artwork, although they are not very dark and are dotted rather than solid lines. There are no cross references, which makes for a very clean, easy to read text which is exactly what I was looking for. The text is very readable and that is the reason I took a chance on this -- a lot of "large print" versions are still very small. The leather cover is fine, but certainly nothing fancy. I can foresee the flap and long strap being a nuisance, but I will deal with that as I go. Honestly, readable text with margins for notes are the two critical things that I was looking for in a "Journaling Bible," and this one fills both of those requirements. Just understand that this is a real doorstop of a book! One star off for the ridiculously high price -- the leather doesn't seem all that "premium" to me for the suggested retail price, and even Amazon's almost $100 price is way too much. But I have it and will be giving it a workout. Overall, I'm happy with this bible so far.

Definitely a must buy. You can add your notes right in the column. Plus pages are not cheap, not see through. The font is also good, not eye straining. I love my new Bible and you will too
