Bought these in April 2024 and they are now well into their second year of use and still going strong, so figured it was time for a review. These are far and away the best knee pads I have ever purchased. And I have purchased a lot of makes and models over the years. These are the first pads to stay in place, even a year later, when I walk around (I wear them over jeans), and also the first pair in which the lining did not wear out in just a few months. The metal clips for securing to the leg are perfect, SO much better than hook and eye, which has always worn out quickly with other knee pads. Early on I wondered about their durability but, as you can see from the photos, other than a little chipped paint (purely cosmetic) they have held up to lots of tugging and pulling. The straps do stretch a little over time, but with the metal adjustable clips, it is easy to retighten as needed. I wear these for any projects around the house the require me to get on my knees (e.g. working with wall outlets) and for all garden work. They are impervious to rocks, metal, glass, raspberry and rose thorns, pretty much anything. And, they are extremely comfortable. Yes, they can get hot in the summer in full sun, but that is a very small price to pay for such protection, durability and overall comfort. Working in the garden, dirt, wood chips and other debris can get inside, and this has quickly torn up the linings of other brands, but not these. It they made a longer pad that went farther down the shin, I would buy them in a heartbeat, but these do what they are supposed to do. Will buy another pair at the end of this season, so I have a pair in reserve for when these eventually give up the ghost, which could take a while. To say this was money well spent is an understatement.

Holds on tight. This is pretty comfortable too. I use this as an auto tech and have to often get down on a knee to rack up cars. The straps are adjustable and the padding is soft enough to drop onto. Plenty of shock absorption.

Very close to a 5 star rating. Good fit and great comfort from the gel + padding for knees on rock gravel concrete or any hard surface, locking buckles on the straps are great and do not come apart easily. Love the support structure on the hard outer surface of the pads that help support my ankles and shins while still being a lightweight option. Others seems to place pressure in those areas and these do not. So far they seem to be quite durable and a good value for the money. Only one draw back are the straps themselves will loosen a bit over time needing to be tightened up causing a bit of stability loss.

I bought these for my husband who tackles so many projects around the house but whose knees are not cooperating with crawling around all the time. These have so far been amazing. Comfortable to wear, easy to put on himself. The quality is amazing! Most importantly, they absolutely have saved his knees. He really loves how easy they clip on, and also loves the feature of the pulls at the top to put them in just the right spot.

Taylor followed up with me from NoCry related to my review of the Professional Construction Knee pads. After discussion, he suggested I try the LightGuard Pros — sleeker model without the hard face. He also suggested I cross the straps to hold them in place more comfortably, a tip I had missed. What a difference!! They stayed in place for several hours use - first time ever. They were also very comfortable on my knees, perhaps due to them being somewhat narrower and conforming better to my round knee shape. I was basically able to ignore them, back and forth on my knees, which is a first for me. Both models are very well made. The LightGuard Pros are very comfortable and convenient to wear on flat surfaces, and the Professional Construction model has the hard face that is better for rocks or floor joists I suspect. These NoCry gel knee pads have absolutely been a lifesaver for me! As someone in my late 40s dealing with osteoarthritis in both knees, I was skeptical that any knee pads would actually make a difference. Boy, was I wrong! I use these for all my paint projects and various DIY work around the house, and they've been a complete game changer. The best part? They actually stay put! I've tried other knee pads before that constantly slide up and down your leg, which is beyond frustrating when you're trying to focus on your work. These NoCry pads grip properly and don't shift around at all. The gel and foam cushioning does exactly what it's supposed to do—keep my knees comfortable even when kneeling for extended periods. Prior to these, I experienced pain so intense that I would wince after only a few minutes on hard surfaces. Now I can work for much longer without that constant ache. My only minor complaint is that they do get pretty warm after wearing them for hours at a time, but honestly, that's a small price to pay for the comfort and pain relief they provide. The performance far outweighs this minor inconvenience. If you have knee issues or just want to protect your knees during projects, I can't recommend these enough. They simply work, and work well!

Just for I was looking for. There was some comments that these may slip off your knees but if you read the directions it says to cross the straps diagonally behind your knee. When I did that they never slept again. It doesn't matter what you're working on whether it's a job around the house in the attic or on the roof, anytime you have to lean on your knees these are a lifesaver.

I purchased the NoCry Professional Knee Pads, but that's not the only reason why I rated them 5 stars. It is because NoCry is an amazing company who Genuinely go out of their way to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. The After-Sales service is well above any other company that I have ever dealt with. Now onto my NoCry Professional Knee Pads. These are extremely well made and very comfortable to wear. But they didn't fit all that well and they slipped and moved out to the side of my knees. BUT! I have to STRESS this is NOT a fault with the product, instead, it is MY OWN FAULT. I bought these to wear in the roof space of my home, I am checking the wiring and because the outer shell is hard they didn't suit crawling along rafters. As I said it was my fault that they were not suitable, the NoCry Professional Knee Pads are not designed for this sort of use. NoCry already has a set of knee pads that are designed specifically for crawling around, over and on roofs. These knee pads are NoCry Flooring & Roofing Knee Pads - with Foam Padding and No-slip Leather Stabilizers, Strong Double Straps and Adjustable Easy-Fix Clips. I chose the wrong ones, but now the situation has been resolved and I can look forward to being comfortable when working. If you want a TOP QUALITY PRODUCT and AMAZING After Sales Service, you simply cannot find a better company than NoCry. Spending a lot of time on my knees in artifact detection these save the body from crouched fatigue brilliantly. With them, I can can go all day in comfort. So far, after a week or so of owning them they even have some waterproofness to them in shallow boggy ground. Wet sore knees in rough archeological & wild terrain can wear away at the most enthusiastic commitment, so in a sense, you are not only physically protected, but psychologically protected by decent knee pads. Also no problems with cross fixing them at the back of the knee for stronger dexterity, no drifting of the knee-pads while walking on flat or steep Scottish ground. They are much better than my old foam ones & feel like they are built to survive a hard life. Time will tell on that, but even in the unlikely event of me managing to destroy them in a year, I'd come back for more. There are similar versions out there, almost carbon copies of the NoCry version, but with these, you are also buying into the excellent NoCry customer back-up, should they fail prematurely.
