I think it would work with any earplugs. Great item eliminates cables from getting tangled. Solved my problem and I'm happy I purchased this item.

Will it work with a 10ft cable?

I dont have a cable that size, however my computer charger is a good length and it held that just fine.

Is there anything similar that works on a 15ft USB cable?

Not that I've ever seen but then I wasn't looking.
