Will these work for 6.75”?

Not sure but most of the time the speaker basket remains the same from a 6.5 to a 6.75

Will this work in 2012 Kia Optima?

They make them for many different size speakers. Find out what speaker size you have, and buy accordingly. They are very customizable.... Yes

Will this benefit component speakers?

They keep water off of the speaker in the event of rain or a car wash. If you’re sure that no water will ever get on them, then don’t bother. Otherwise, they’re cheap insurance.

Will this help with harshness and shrill treble ?

It will help give resonance to your speakers. Maybe look at adjusting your equalizer and cutting some highs out. I have these on all four of my 6.5” mid components and they’re fantastic..
