Amazing value for $24. Just 4 minutes to install because I used aux instead of FM. Used the included aux cable to connect the aux in/out port in this thing to the aux in port in my car, and selected Aux/CD in my car stereo. That's it. No FM settings required. USB charging works. Did not try other sources of music (USB, micro SD) -- don't need them. The only downside is that the mic is weak. In my car, the 12V port is located way down low, over 3 feet from the driver's face. To be heard clearly during a handsfree call, you have two options: (1 undignified) scream at the top of your lungs, and (2 unsafe and bad for your back) lean down to bring your face closer to the 12V port. I choose (1). OK. This is more a problem with the location of the 12V port in my car than with this item. However, if you plan to use this thing in a car with a similar problem, you may want to opt for a model where the display and mic can be mounted away from the 12V port. I think this manufacturer has one like that.

First, the good - I had no problem finding a blank FM station without any interfering noise from other stations but have yet to see what happens when I go out of range from the selected FM station. The Bluetooth pairing was fast and easy. The sound is quite good but obviously doesn’t compare with a stock Bluetooth car system. Some reviews have noted that the volume was not loud enough. However, I used the car radio’s volume as the main control in conjunction with the Bluetooth device’s volume control and it was blasting loud. All the buttons and features (and there are many) worked as they should. The bass, treble, and equalizer settings (rock, jazz, classical, etc.) functioned nicely. I had another person call me to test the call sound quality and it was very clear at both ends. Now, here is what I was disappointed in. The instructions need improvement. For example, there is no explanation of what the included fuse is for and where it would go. It comes with an Aux cable, but it does not explain how to use the device with it. It would be good if somehow the device had memory so that it did not go back to the default settings when restarted. The lighted display is good but the dancing bars really have no purpose. Most importantly, none of the function buttons are lit up so at night you cannot see where the buttons are to pick up a call, change songs, pause, etc. It would be better to illuminate the buttons that you need to see rather than the dancing music bars. Also, I discovered that the audio is not stereo. It is mono. I played several songs from my phone that I know have distinct stereo separation and also googled stereo test sites (right and left speaker tests) and confirmed the device did not produce stereo. Overall, the device is very promising and does have some great features, but the lack of stereo and lit function buttons is a problem for me. I did contact Nulaxy customer service about my issues and was very pleased that they responded immediately and are willing to do whatever is needed to satisfy me. So a star added for great customer service! UPDATE - First off, I figured out that, since it is not self-powered like some other Bluetooth adapters, in order to work through the Aux port, it has to be plugged into both the car's cigarette lighter plug AND Aux port in order to get power. Then when I switch to the Aux option on my radio it plays without having to tune to an FM station. Now, the big thing is that I had mentioned that when I played it through an FM station, it would only play in mono and not stereo. But I discovered that when I play it through the Aux port, it does play in stereo. This may be helpful to others who also noted they could not get stereo sound. Unfortunately, my car's Aux port is far back from the cigarette lighter plug, so this requires me to use a much longer Aux cable which is kinda cumbersome and doesn't look very good.

Enjoy listening to my music while driving. Easy installation. Easy setup. Good audio tuning features that improved the sound quality in my car. Auto connection after the discovery, if you like that. All together a good purchase.

Have 20 year old Lexus. CD broke. Instead of paying hundreds (or more - console must be taken out) to replace, used this device to connect through FM. Fidelity excellent. Ease of use very good. Only one time did we have to change the FM station because of interference on 2,500 mile driving trip. Highly recommended.

I love everything about this unit but one. It's easy to set up. It connected to my Android phone quickly. I was making phone calls through it within a few minutes of plugging it in. It even controlled Pandora, playing on my phone. Pretty cool. But when I plugged in my USB key, I started having problems. First off--press and hold the "phone" button to access the file menu for the USB. The instructions need to be clearer on that. Once you're in, though, it's easy to navigate. But every time I turn the car off, and turn it back on, it loses its place on the USB key! It starts back up on a particular file--the same file every time--even though that WASN'T the file I was last listening to. Maybe that's okay with music, but I'm trying to listen to an audiobook I ripped from the CD, so I must navigate through a few dozen files to get to my desired file. Plus it loses its place within that file, too. I'm hoping that it's a bug with my particular unit, but I don't know yet. I'll edit this review once I find out.

This is truly the best add on for people who don’t have an aux in their car radio. Ready to use out the box and sounds great! I get lots of complements on the screen as well don’t know what I’d do without it.

The Nulaxy KM20 is a decent BT FM Transmitter. It serves to add Bluetooth to a vehicle that either didn't come with Bluetooth built-in to the radio originally, has a bad Bluetooth connection from the built-in radio, and or also doesn't have an aux-in on the factory radio. This particular transmitter does have the ability to use its aux port as both an input and an output, so if your radio does in fact have aux-in, you can simply use the supplied aux cable to connect the transmitter directly to the radio for slightly better sound quality. Otherwise, you simply sync the radio frequency on the transmitter to an empty local station on your car radio and listen that way. This transmitter gives you the ability to listen to your music from a phone through a Bluetooth connection and aux connection; as well as with a usb stick or micro-sd card pre-loaded with music files. It also allows you to set an equalizer preset when used with either the usb or sd card, as well as adjust the bass and treble intensity when a phone is connected. A particular issue of this FM Transmitter is that it does pick up engine noise, so if you already have this issue with a pre-existing transmitter, that problem will not go away with this one unfortunately. Listening to music is fine, but once it becomes quiet it becomes more obvious. As far as sound quality in general, it is good. Over FM you do lose a little bit of quality, but if you don’t have an aux connection you will never know. People sound clear when using it as the handset and you sound clear to them as well. Another possible issue for some people could be that the neck does not allow the body of the transmitter to rotate beyond 90° to either side, at least it has one, since some designs do not. In general this transmitter is acceptable, it has a well thought out design with two power usb ports and another for a usb stick, micro-sd card support and aux in/out. With the scroll wheel you are able to control your volume, adjust your bass and treble, as well as navigate a filesystem on a usb stick or sd card. Overall, this transmitter is very versatile and gives you many options as far as source playback and has an interface that is easy to work with. If you are one of the few that are using this to play off of a usb stick or sd card, please look at the manual for some more details as far as navigating your files, it was quite helpful. I hope some people find this review helpful along with the photos paired with this post.

This gooseneck model fits perfect in my Impala and works fine. The User Manual is a little confusing so the following should help. In the Quick Guide: Phone button is labeled "Spin" button, Spin button has no label. Phone, Bass & Treble buttons respond differently to a short press versus long. A long press on Treble turns off the screen (NOT the entire unit). Long press on Phone button to access the equalizer (select from preset tone settings). If the cigarette lighter is always powered then this adapter will always be on. However, when not playing music and with the screen off, it only draws 35 mA. This is the same as two standard LEDs so you don't have to unplug it every time you park.

Macht alles, was es soll - Audio (Navi/Musik) kommt gut vom Smartfon an, dass sich Dank der USB Stecker zeitgleich lädt. Freisprech funktioniert auch tadellos. Einrichtung ist ganz einfach. Was ich nicht getestet habe ist Wiedergabe von SD-Karte. Evtl. ist das Abspielen aufgrund des kleinen Displays nicht so einfach... aber das ist Spekulation. Für den kleinen Preis ein wirklich gutes Gerät.

Après une semaine d'utilisation. Utilisé sur un Renault Scénic où la prise cigare était trop encastrée: - installation: parfait pour ce véhicule - son de très bonne qualité pour moi, réglage volume, basses, aigus simples. - changement de fréquence: directement avec les (+) et (-) sans avoir à bricoler dans les menus. - Pour ce qui est de Toulouse, et sa périphérie: pas de pb de brouillage ou chevauchement de fréquences. De toute manière ça se change très facilement.

Je l utilise pour ma musique sur clé USB et ca va tres bien. Il ne bouge pas du tout dans l allume cigare, tres stable même avec des nids de poule. Donc, ma musique ne coupe pas. J aime le fait qu on puisse ajuster la basse et qu on voit le titre de la chanson ou le nom du groupe Je n ai pas essayé l option repondre au telephone et je ne pense pas l essayer non plus. Le but était d ecouter ma musique sur clé USB Tres contente L autre que j avais n etait pas stable du tout dans l allume cigare et ca coupait tout le temps sur nos belles routes pleines de trous

Such an excellent product. THIS ONE IS THE EXACT ONE TO HAVE. The only problem I found is that it easily twists around and disconnects from the cigarette lighter port and kills the connection !!!!
