I need a pulley that i can put an overhead garden hose through and roll for a project. Is this wide enough?

The hose would have to be 3/4 inch outside diameter or less to fit through the pulley and 1/2 inch to roll properly without binding.

Spec. - Max. rope size 1/2". 3/8" should be OK.

where is this manufactured?

Not sure, but Google searching seems to turn up China from most discussions. I'm using mine as an anchor pulley on a drift boat, so it's not a life or death thing for me. Seems like climbers "out there" aren't too impressed.

Need a pulley that can handle repetition and heat for an exercise rope. Regular pulleys get warm quick and become defective. Will this do?

Thank you! I will be using it in a high repetition exercise of my legs and arms. The repetition constantly reverses the motion. Weight on it will be much less than 150 Ib. As long as it can handle the heat generated. I guess I have to try and see.
