This is functional with some constant manipulation from the user to keep it going - in hindsight would have bought something different and paid more for something better - will buy something that works properly now and keep this "pain in the butt to use" one as a back-up emergency unit. Why: 1st - the bags they sell together with the unit from amazon are too big to fit on the spindle so you have to unroll half of the bags and feed them manually (waste of time). The reason is the design of the unit, look at most competitors, the part that holds the bags is in the far rear, not off-set to the side, which makes the opening to feed the bags too small, and the roll of bags wont fit on the spindle on the sealer unit. 2nd - the unit continuity mis feeds and the bags get stuck and melt so you have to un jam the unit (it happens so frequently you can not blink or have it run without having to keep your hands there to pull the bags properly to feed. I've run through 2 rolls of bags - same thing - it's so labor intensive it's labor intensive it's not worth the time - you'd be better off buying bags already blown up and spend your time doing other things). 3rd -the warm up time is about 6-8 minutes compared to other machines with a shorter warm up time. 4th - the air pump in this specific machine is not strong enough to fill larger bags - the air flow in to the bags does not provide enough volume of air to fill it before the bag before it becomes sealed by the machine (making the bag 100% useless - they only half fill - so expect to throw away any large bag roll you buy or you need to purchase a 2nd machine that can actually fill them). 5th - It gets stuck so much you have to stop everything, adjust the roll, and reset the roll on the air fill tube - it takes a few minutes, so a lot of wasted time using this machine. Do yourself a favor and spend the money now on a better solution!

Never used one before but it took minutes to set up and learn. Kind of common sense. Then I could not stop using it. Wow does it make packing easier! Great quality and works!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised that the Air Pillow machine worked as advertised. It was easy to setup and worked perfectly first time out of the gate. There's a little bit of a toxic smell when you've finished making the air pillows due to the heatseal it creates on the plastic; just use in a well ventilated space.

Ordered this machine to start making our own packing bubbles/cushions as we have gotten used to getting alot of them in deliveries during covid we now needed to start making our own. So far the machine has worked perfectly, easy to use and no issues with it filling and sealing the cushions. We still haven't gone though the full roll that came with the machine yet but haven't had any problem so far. I also haven't tried any other brand of bubbles or cushions yet in the machine to know if it works fine with those or not. But I am happy with this purchase as it is reducing the cost of packing materials.

OKI bought this machine about 4 or 5 weeks ago. And I have used a quite a bit. It does produce the rap kind of slowly but I expected that because it is I desktop version. I spent the money because I saw several other versions for much cheaper. The plastic that is used for the rolls are decent quality. However the machine just doesn't seem to put enough air into the packing material. This means you have to use more then what is expected. This is really the only flaw that I see with this. It does have an adjustment so that you can adjust how much air goes into the packing material. However, turned all the way up. It's still does not fill the bubbles completely like I had hoped. So the value in my opinion is very low due to this one flaw. The machine is very easy to use and does work well overall. However, if I could return this item for something different at this point I would. I would try a different machine. I packed a lot of products. Let go all over the United States. And I cannot always run to the store for more packing material when I run out. This was my answer to this. They do offer several different Variations of packing material. This is another reason why I purchased sis unit which is a little more expensive than others that are listed on amazon. I think the only way to get a higher quality is if a person was to buy the industrial version that also uses separate air.
