Nice cable with a BIG caveat
Overall I like the cable, however I must express that out of the box it was not functional for my needs. The USB C end of the cable didn't engage with my Chuwi Hi10 Plus USB C socket and wouldn't power or charge the device. Close inspection revealed that there is a small ridge where the connector mates with the housing. The ridge is visible in the main product photo. This ridge prevented the connector from fully engaging with the input jack of the Chuwi. I was able to remove the ridge with a file (it's actually made of metal) and once removed the connector worked as it should in the Chuwi jack.I can't say that you would have the same issue with a different device, but for the Chuwi it wont work out of the box until you remove the ridge. Otherwise it's a well built cable that should last a long time.

Dead after 5 months of extremely light use
Used exclusively in my car for 5 months. The usb hub in my car is positioned in such a way that allows for cables to have zero tension from any bending/torsion, and basically all I do is plug and unplug my pixel when entering and exiting the vehicle. So this cable was treated like a new born baby as far as cable use goes and out of the blue it stops functioning. I was able to get it to work a few days later by twisting the cable in different ways, but that successful functioning quickly dissipated into its previous dead state.

Long sturdy cable for charging the LG G5
The only reason I purchased this cable was because the LG G5 comes with a short 3ft charging cable, and I required one at least 6 feet in length, and the Type C end on this cable is more durable and hopeful will not start to fray and come apart from being bent a lot. I have use this port the past week, and has been charging the G 5 just fine (shows Rapid Charging).

Cable DOES NOT fast charge
Cable DOES NOT fast charge for Galaxy S8+ as indicated in description or on manufacturing website. When plugged in, it says that it's SLOW CHARGE and to use the stock cable. Very disappointed.
