Then Joe would hit the streets with his push cart, chatting with folks, telling stories, making them laugh, and of course, selling a few cups of coffee. It's those high standards that make Martinson coffee what it is today, a great-tasting cup of coffee. And the only coffee about which can be said, "It's the Real Joe". Box of 24 single serve coffee capsules; Compatible for use with Keurig K-Cup Coffee Makers; Martinson and RealCup have no affiliation with Keurig Incorporated or K-Cup RealCup pours perfect taste straight into your cup. Its special brewing process is both art and science, making sure each sip delivers the unique flavor notes and body of your favorite blends. Coffee is Good... Cups are BAD...
The taste is OK, but I'm not a big fan of the plastic they use for the cup. It cracks instead of making a clean sealed puncture like other Kcups do...EDIT:Placed a new order to try these out again because I noticed they changed their cups to clear recyclable ones. The good news is that the cups now puncture properly on the bottom. This easily beats the gray plastic they used to have. Unfortunately one step forward required taking 2 steps back, it seems. One problem I am having now is that there are coffee grounds in every cup. I can actually see the grounds inside the clear plastic cup... Just sitting in there, waiting for their chance to get out of the cup and into my coffee. Minus 2 starsAlso, I have an issue of about 1 out of every 10 or 15 cups exploding. Well, maybe "Exploding" is a bit dramatic, but the top adhesive fails part way through the brew, and then coffee and grounds start shooting everywhere. This requires a pretty extensive clean-up as I typically end up with grounds and coffee stuck in every nook and cranny of the action-end of the machine. This is not the way I like to start my mornings, especially before getting that cup of coffee I am attempting to brew. Minus 2 starsIt's a shame. I do like the taste of the coffee. I buy k-Cups as a time saver and to ensure a consistently good cup of coffee. These cups just outright can't keep grounds and silt out of my cup, and sometimes it even ends up all over the machine too. I can't recommend that.

Martinson brand K cups are the best of the cheaper dark bold varieties
I've never had the urge to write a review before but feel compelled to help those who might be in the same boat as me. I bought a Keurig and the joy has turned to dread b/c of the cost of the k cups. I would prefer to get the Starbucks Sumatra or any premium brand dark roast extra bold coffee but they are quite expensive. When I simply do not have time to search for a good deal, I do a quick amazon search for Martinson because they are reliably the cheaper options YET, they taste like the premium brands. We collect all our used k cups in a bowl and when they pile up, we cut them open to remove the coffee to add to our gardening compost bin. It's just something we've always done with used coffee grounds. Martinson is the ONLY brand that is extremely hard to cut through. It seems to be EXTRA sealed not with JUST foil, but with some other layer of reinforcement and I would imagine this must make it nice and fresh. My husband and I are both amazed at just HOW MUCH coffee is in the Martinson K cups. We don't throw out ANY k cups. We cut open each and every one and we've tried pretty much all the brands (Green Mountain, Starbucks, Tully's, Emeril's, Coffee People, Timothy's and the other cheaper ones). So believe us when we say, Martinson seems to put some extra effort into the freshness seal/packaging and the volume of coffee in their bold k cups. As a matter of fact, being the pessimist I tend to be, I got a feeling the price of Martinson will probably start to go up b/c nothing good ever lasts. Green mountain's Fair trade Sumatran Blend was extremely good back when their packaging was brown, then we noticed that when we ordered it again not only did the packaging change to that green color, the taste of the coffee just simply was not the same...not near as good anymore. Who knows what green mountain did to ruin a good thing. We only hope that Martinson stays good and stays relatively cheap. Again, OF COURSE, the more expensive brands have great taste but for the price Martinson is quite comparable. In fact, I'll bet if we did blind taste tests, it would be hard to tell the difference. Happy shopping and be frugal.

Drinkable but not near as good as most KCup or Vue French Roasts I have had
The beans seem to be over done compared to most imparting a burnt flavor versus a dark roast flavor. Ironically the brew was still weaker than virtually all the other French Roast coffees I have had from anywhere. This created essentially a watered down burnt toast flavor overpowering the weak coffee flavor. Maybe I received a bad batch in both the variety pack and the all French Roast pack I purchased but that seems a bit unlikely since only the Hazelnut in the Variety pack has a close to decent flavor when compared to the rest of the styles of coffees. Overall drinkable with milk to cover up the burnt toast flavor and bitterness but nothing I'd consider buying again unless they sent me a free lot to try and proved their coffees were really actually good but I received bad lots the first time. OH and regarding the milk, I normally drink my coffee black because I like the flavor and don't need to cover up the normal flavor unless it's not to my liking. Overall average with the Variety pack it's a 1.5 star but I cannot leave a review for both so they get a 2 star for now.

New Favorite Chocolate Drink
It is hard to find dark chocolate in any form these days, let alone in a K-Cup. So, I jumped on this item no questions asked! My wife is the chocolate drinker in the family and she loves this. The cherry flavor is not overpowering and really adds to the experience of relaxing in front of the television in the evening. She says, "This is my new favorite chocolate," and doesn't want me to order anything else. Will most definitely be purchasing more!

Quality k-cups, great breakfast blend
We stumbled upon Martinson Breakfast Blend when looking for an alternative to Green Mountain Breakfast Blend as our morning coffee. It's a little cheaper for k-cups and tastes great! It has a full-bodied taste without being too strong or weak. I've purchased several other brands of k-cups, and inevitably there are always a few that are damaged and burst when I try to use them in my Keurig. I have been buying Martison k-cups every 3 months or so for 2 years and have never had this problem. I also enjoy Dunkin Donuts and Donut Shop coffee, if you're looking for a comparison for flavor.

GREAT COFFEE!
This is the BEST coffee there is to be had in a K cup! For a while a friend and I were on a super strong coffee kick, but one night I stayed in a hotel, their selected coffee to have in the room was Martinson. We didn't use all the cups, so we took them home and one quick Google search led us to Amazon, and I hurriedly bought two boxes. They're gone, so I ordered two more. And with Prime, they come really quick. I am totally satisfied!

Not the worst I've had
The reviews were so mixed on this product I decided to order it and try it for myself. Its a good strong cup of coffee, but it does not have that great flavour I'm looking for. Right now I've been enjoying Newmans Own, and still like it best. This coffee is better than a lot I have tried, its drinkable for sure. There is some sediment in the bottom of the cup like others have said, but I dont have a problem with that.If Newmans Own was not available, I would buy this again, but only if it was at a local store. I would never buy off Amazon again due to the fact I am charged GST+PST when in fact there is no tax on coffee.UPDATE: Amazon did refund the tax to my credit card after I inquired about it. But now I'm wondering if the problem is fixed or I will be charged again next time?

Martins on French roast is my favourite coffee for the keurig
Martins on French roast is my favourite coffee for the keurig. It's bold but also has this sweet, syrupy taste to it. Mmmmmmmmm. I am a Starbucks French roast lover for non keurig, so you know my frame of reference.

Excellent coffee!
After reading the available reviews of this coffee brand we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed with the results.Just love the bold flavour and aroma. This coffee is not for people who think "Tim Horton's" is good coffee! ;)

Great tasting K Cup Coffee
I am always trying different brands, most of them milder morning blends and I keep coming back to Martinson Breakfast Blend for quality and taste. When I fill my rack at the office, it always seems to be the one my staff uses the most so I guess I am not alone in my taste choice.
