Sandpaper Numerals

These sandpaper number cards are great for homeschooling, especially Montessori. The quality is excellent and they have really helped my son.

Great alternative to the traditional sand paper numbers. They are sturdy enough that they will last for my one student. Happy with the purchase.

Colors are exactly as seen. They are a little smaller than I was imagining but they are of good quality and look forward to using them with my three year old!

I have a student in my classroom who needs some fine tuning with his motor skills as well as number recognition and formation. I considered making something like this myself when I couldn't find such a product at the local teacher supply store...but alas....this amazing item was available for a fair price. I would definitely buy this product again, and am sure I'll find other uses for these numerals in the future. The tactile experience has been wonderful for my student though. I saved a TON of time buying this as opposed to trying to make them myself! They're sturdy and durable---I expect them to last a long time.

They are exactly as expected. A great way to train students in numeral formation. Creates muscle memory with low pressure. If you have a child who gets very upset when making a mistake, they don’t feel the frustration when there are no markings to erase, they are happy to begin again. My child who is very sensitive does not like the sandpaper, but the others do.

My 6-year-old is plagued with reversals when writing numbers, so I searched for sandpaper numbers to help her when we practice writing. These sandpiper numbers are terrific. They're made from thick cardboard and stand up to her play and use (though I would not recommend them for kids under 5). However. I was able to purchase a full set of upper- and lowercase letters for just a few dollars more than I paid for these 10 numerals. I think they're very overpriced, but I couldn't find any other sandpaper numbers options. I needed them, so I paid the $16, but I still think it's a ridiculous price.

As a Special Education teacher I have used the heavy duty Montessori sand paper number cards but these light weight tactile cards are perfect for my younger students. This is an effective sensory stimulating method of reinforcing number identification and number shape.The numbers are not wide but are narrow enough for a young child's finger tip.

I’ve had these in my Kindergarten classroom for a year now and they stand up really well to daily use. The kids love the tactile sand, to trace the numerals. Great product!
