How much weight can a shower pan hold

I was told by both Youtube and a renovation specialist that you should put a mortar bed under your shower pan. It levels it out properly, and it keeps it from cracking no matter how much weight you put on it. So that's what we did with this pan, and my 210lbs body can jump up and down on it without it giving at all. Of course, then you have to make sure your subfloor is up to carrying the weight of mortar, pan, and person.

Is there a surround or panel walls kit that can be added to this pan?

We ordered Palisade waterproof wall tile kit and installed this on the walls.

I bought the shower base, but do not see the drain cover, can I purchase one separately?

The shower basin did come with a drain cover and very sturdy and I was satisfied with it .

does this pan come with a drain?

It comes with a kind of drain, yes. I bought the suggested drain separately and was able to return it. The pan comes with a rubber gasket that you can feed the PVC pipe up through and grout it, then you don't need a separate screw-in drain.
