I read about this on YouTube and tried it as a last resort for the Dirty Sock Smell in my HVAC. I have tried many products over the past 4 years that worked for a while, but the smell always came back in a few days. It's been a month now, and the DSS has not come back since spraying my A-coils with this oil. It took a few days to fully eliminate the smell, but no smell now. I'm cautiously optimistic that I have a solution if the mold/bacteria ever come back. I just mixed 30 drops in a gallon garden sprayer with a few drops of dish detergent and soaked the coils with the fan on, then let it sit for about an hour. The Tea Tree smell is not offensive (to me) and goes away after a day. Try it !

This is a great price (I paid ~$15) for a decently sized bottle of pure tea tree oil with a dropper. It smells and feels just like higher end tea tree oils (like from bath & body works), so it seems to be exactly what it says it is. I'm on my 2nd bottle, it took about 6 months to finish the first. I originally bought it to help heal my fingertips after some kind of strange reaction (not sure if that was the right thing to do but it didn't seem to hurt them) and ended up using the rest in completely different ways: in my laundry and homemade cleaning spray! I have sensitive skin and use light detergents. I add about 1/4 of a full dropper into the water while it's filling then a few drops into the fabric softener tray (to which I also add a few tablespoons of 20% organic white vinegar and water to make up the rest of the volume). My clothing and linens never smell musty anymore, and it is gentle on my clothes. I also make my own bathroom surface cleaner for the sink, mirrors, glass shelves and toilet surfaces using about 1/2 a spray bottle of 20% organic white vinegar, at least one dropper full of tea tree oil and the rest water. I spray it on all the surfaces and let it sit a minute then wipe it all down. For whatever reason, my bathroom mirrors no longer have condensate that runs down them creating streaks when they fog up (they still fog up, but don't drip, so they clear rather quickly once my shower is done). It doesn't keep my white grout white in the shower or clean the toilet basin well, so I still use bleach-based products for those, but overall this product has a ton of uses.

Bought this larger bottle to use in an anti-mould spray with vinegar as we recently had a basement flood. The oil smells potent, and fresh, and it did work well with the vinegar to wipe clean and suppress mould growth.

Love it not a good smell but it helps with sores and cuts. And bugs hate it.

This is my first time buying TTO. I do not know what it is supposed to actually smell like, but this does remind me a great deal of Pine Sol. I've looked up other opinions on the smell and they do seem to vary widely, so based on smell I can't tell if this stuff is legitimate or not. The odor is extremely powerful and the wife can't stand it. I don't mind it one bit though as I've always liked the way Pine Sol smelled. The description also claims to contain 45% Terpinen-4, which I cannot confirm. I purchased this for a toe nail fungal infection as well as a component to an acne recipe for my daughter and mold mitigation after-shower spray for the tile. She thinks it's been working and I too think her skin is a bit clearer after about a week. The nail is going to take a lot longer to figure out. Nothing else has helped that thing so it's worth a try. I also now want to see about using it in aromatherapy. While looking for this stuff I was exposed to essential oils and am stoked. Funny how things work sometimes. One of the main reasons I gave 5 stars was for customer service. This bottle showed up mixed with other items. The cap had come just a little loose, even with the shrink wrap tamper resistant plastic in tact. An amount had spilled out all over the inside of the box and other items. Way strong smell!! I had a feeling even before I opened the box that something was wrong. Anyway, I contacted the company and they offered to replace the bottle. An intact bottle showed up within about a week and I was a satisfied customer.
