it is a nice bag but long and narrow. I think a blockier shaped bag might fit better. I stored about 10 Fly rod tubes and it was perfect for that. Longer than wide

Does it fit in overhead cabin on an airplane?

This bag is waaaaay too big to go on in the overhead compartment. A typical overhead bag would be a max of 40L. this bag is approximately 150L; almost 4 times the size of a carry on. I’m a 5’11 man and I jokingly fit my entire body in this bag (except my head)!!
