I was really surprised by this. I ordered it to try it for the first time and liked it a lot. The ground beef had good texture (especially compared to the weird chunks of soft, spongy "beef" that is in Chunky Beef and Barley soup) and the thickness of the soup was more than usual for Chunky soups these days. The flavor was good and I will order it again. One thing: I have never had "chili mac" and don't really see the point of pasta in chili other than to stretch it if you are parenting on a budget. I wish they would just call it chili and add more beans in place of the pasta.

Let me say "right off the bat", it doesn't lack for good taste. It's just not what I'd expect for "Chili Mac". It's really just Chili Mac soup. It doesn't taste watered down though, but it is soup, not thick like I'd expect Chili Mac to be. Add some cornbread and your favorite condiment on top (mine's Catsup), and you'll get a good TASTY meal for two anyway!

I love this soup!!! Very tasty and keeps you filled up for quite a while. Comfort food. The pasta in it really adds to the texture and flavor.

Not too thick, not too thin. Very easy to make for a quick little meal. Tastes great with a nice texture when warm.

This is a fairly good canned meal. My only suggestion for the company is that they should make the pasta al dente, as it is just too soft and mushy. Great if you like soft food for dentures or have no teeth. It's likely good for children because the pasta is super soft like spaghetti-0s. But if you need a tasty quick canned meal you can heat up fast in microwave or stove top once in a while, you'll like this.

My husband loved the taste of the soup. It was tasty and the cost was reasonable.

This is good but less sodium would be nice. It is a quick go to meal. I will definitely buy again.
