It does not feel cheap, but it's inexpensive. This tool helped me fix a massive water leak in my front yard that ballooned my water bill from $60 to approaching $300. It was easy to use, and worked well with the PEX fittings I was using. I would buy it again, and highly recommend it.

If you are doing a small project or just need something for DIY/home use, this is all you need with nothing more. Besides it comes with a nice hard case to keep everything together for that rare occasion you need it. Excellent value for the money.

This tool is fine if you only need to do a handful of expansions and not in tight spaces, otherwise it seems like it is worth it to grab the DeWalt or Milwaukee expanders. They are more expensive but worth it since they save you a headache.

I had to replace some water lines under one of my rent houses, I thought I would try out pex-a. Boy, am I glad I did. I ended up replacing twice as much as I had figured on. This tool made it a breeze. I now love pex-a. If you aren't a professional and only do a few jobs then this tool should work fine for you.

Have used for a small bathroom job and worked great. Will continue to use for bigger projects.
