Stonewall Kitchen Chocolate Doughnut Mix, 19.6 Ounces

Good way to check out a chocolate doughnut and glaze recipe without committing a lot of resources. You have to watch and reheat the glaze, though, as the temperature and viscosity vary quickly while dipping them. The taste was great and the chocolate, not too messy, considering what you are dealing with.

These are so good! I made mini donuts in a donut maker and they turned out amazing. My kids and husband loved them. We will definitely buy more in the near future.

Makes delicious doughnuts, but too much work for me! Dunkin’ Donuts for me, lol

The mix was easy to use and very chocolatey. However, it made very dense donuts. Also, the frosting was a bit bitter. People who like thick brownies with that bitter chocolate taste will probably love these.

I am so impressed with my donuts… obviously it was part me but mostly this amazing mix. Make sure to follow ingredients. I used butter milk like it calls for and it made a huge difference in the taste

Tasty and easy to bake

I substituted a small container of applesauce for the oil to lighten up the recipe. Not light like Krispy Creme, but not heavy like cake donuts. A nice middle-of-the-road alternative. Tasted like having chocolate cake for breakfast and dessert after lunch. Ended up sending the rest home with our son so we didn't continue to stuff ourselves. I would purchase again.

I followed the directions on the box. The consistency was rather thick, but it made forming it in the molds easy. I cooked it for the maximum time it recommended, but the donut appeared to be soft and undercooked. I’ve cooked with silicone before so everything should be fine. What I got was a soft strange tasting not like a donut product. however, the silver lining is that this is a great chocolate lava cake product. Rather than advertising it as a donut mix they should advertise it as a chocolate lava cake mix take my finished product throw some icing on top or extra chocolate syrup, and you have a winner.
