51912 3/16" Cushion Grip Hex T-Handle T-Key Allen Wrench

I make specialized tool kits for specific tasks occasionally. I buy individual tools when I need them for a kit, this was one. It works fine and when you can find a quality brand name tool at a reasonable price that you can keep for a specific task, you can save a lot of time by not having to find appropriate tools each time. I have plenty of general purpose tool sets because I like spares but my specialized kits make specific tasks a pleasure. I highly recommend organizing your life that way for frequent tasks or tasks where access to your tool sets is inconvenient.

Works like it should. Came with a protective rubber coating at the tip. length is great. The tool design and build are just fine. Not intended for/as a torquing wrench. SgtWall USMC

It seems to be well built and it worked as intended. Same as more expensive brands, just cheaper. Length lets it get in awkward spots and feels solid and well designed.

This fits my truss-rod adjustment on one of my bass guitars, and it is much easier to use that one of those short 'L' shaped allen keys since it doesn't interfere with the strings. Also easier to get a good grip, so I'm less likely to damage the truss rod adjustment. I was concerned that it might not be rigid enough since it's kind of long and only 3/16, but it seems to be made of good steel for the purpose. I've used it several times with no apparent wear on the tip.

inserting the rod was never so easy. it stays stiff and snug like a match made in heaven. the red grip is nice grip. should be like a dollar though.

T-key Allen wrench works well. I needed an Allen wrench with a long reach. This one fit the bill.

I only needed 1 minute with this wrench to adjust the truss rod in my bass guitar but it worked perfectly.
