I live in Myrtle Beach South Carolina where the water contains many undesirable minerals, chemicals, and the taste is rather bitter. I purchased the iSpring RCC7AK 75GPM 6 Stage RO system hoping for a better tasting healthier water alternative. We've not been disappointed to say the least. The system arrived two days after ordering and within a couple of hours after watching the installation video on YouTube I had the system installed. I flushed the filters and the tank has per the manufacturer instructions, and allowed the tank to fill overnight. The next morning, after flushing all the old water and chemicals from our coffee maker we couldn't believe the difference in our morning coffee. Much less bitter and much better tasting. The water coming out of the faucet is noticeably cleaner and more clear than the previous unfiltered water. I opted for the six stage system because I wanted remineralization added to the final product of the filtered water. We couldn't be more pleased with our system. I have not had it long enough to change filter elements, however, as easy as the filters were to install I'm sure the replacement process will be smooth and easy. I highly recommend this system not only for ease of installation and taste of the water but also for the price. I researched long and hard before purchasing The iSpring system and could not find a better system at this affordable price. I purchased the iSpring RCC7AK 6-Stage RO filter out of necessity when I could not purchase a sufficient quantity of bottled water at the store due to the COVID-19 shortages. Before this, I drank only bottled water because my tap water is especially rusty and full of sediment due to old pipes in my neighborhood. The tap water also had a strong smell of chlorine, metallic taste and would smell funny if stored in the refrigerator for a few days. That is no longer the case! Now, thanks to this RO filter system, I get water from the faucet that is as good as, if not better, than the water I bought from the store. I figure I'm saving at least $25 a month in water costs, which will have the system pay for itself in way under a year. Plus, no more lugging gallons of water from the store or making unnecessary trips in search of water. The system is fairly easy to install, requiring only the most basic understanding of plumbing and hand tools, albeit it helps to be flexible to get under your sink. The instruction manual is helpful, and there are several videos on YouTube to walk you through the process. All I can really say is that there's a big difference between watching someone else do it and doing it yourself. In particular, the instructional videos make it seem easier than it is because they're not shimmying under a kitchen sink with three drain lines, multiple water hoses and electrical conduits for a disposal and dishwasher. I feel the one thing either missing from or not emphasized enough in the manual is that the storage tank can be stood upright or placed on its side. This was critical for me because the tank would not fit under my sink standing up, and I have a standard 36" cabinet under my sink. My drain setup may be most of the issue - you can see how complicated it is in the pictures. Of course, what little usable space I had under the sink is mostly gone, but that's a small price to pay for clean water. Another potential issue with the instructions is with how vague they are regarding the installation of the drain saddle. It is recommended that it be placed on a horizontal section of pipe to prevent the sound of dripping water, but that's about all it says. My suggestion is to put it on a horizontal section of pipe just past the P-trap, preferably with the hole pointing straight up. Not only does this eliminate the sound of dripping water, but this might also prevent your system from malfunctioning should you get a clog in your trap, and it's less likely to leak into your cabinets if the drain saddle doesn't seal perfectly. I may be wrong about this, but I also think the videos missed the part about cutting a 45 degree angle on the waste water tubing (black tubing) to prevent the line from being blocked if it is over-inserted in the drain pipe. The instructions also walk you through a system purge to clear the lines, tank and filters. I think a combined approach from the videos and manual worked best for me. As shown in one of the YouTube videos, I disconnected the line from the third stage filter to purge the first three stages separately from the rest of the system. Then, keeping the tank valve closed, I reconnected the system and purged the last three stages. This is especially important for the systems with the Alkalinity post-filter (Stage 5). I had to purge the last three sections for 30 minutes before the water stopped being cloudy from what I assume was excess minerals coming from the Alkalinity filter. After that, I opened the tank valve, let it fill once and drained it according to the instructions. As for the hardware, my main gripe is that not all the quick connects had pre-installed, color-coordinated clips. However, the box contained a bag of extra parts that allowed me to perform the installation. I'm not sure if this was an oversight or just the way it is supposed to be. There was some water in the RO canister when I opened it to install the RO membrane. I speculate that either my filter system had been returned (possibly explaining the "missing" clips) or that the system was pressure tested prior to leaving the factory. In any event, the purge process cleaned everything up. A few other minor gripes: The filter section could use some kind of handle to lift it and for holding it while tightening or loosening the filter canisters. Perhaps this is intentional to keep you from over-tightening the connections? Also, the mounting instructions seem like an afterthought. I really can't imagine anyone mounting the filter section under their counter. It is far easier to just slide it under your sink and rest in on the bottom of the first three stages or lay the system on its back. Also, I installed the faucet in an opening in my sink originally intended for a soap dispenser that I never used. I cannot imagine most people using the included mounting hardware for the faucet, so that seems like it should have been a separate option. If it's of any importance, the faucet that came with my system is brushed nickel, but my original hardware is chrome. The distinction isn't that noticeable and I don't mind it, but it might have been nice to have an option (if there was one, I was not aware of it). My system also came with a leak detector that can shut off the flow of water to the system if water starts to pool under the sink. My leak detector uses some kind of pulp material that absorbs water and expands to shut off the flow. It's very low-tech, but that may be a good thing. Some of the videos I saw showed systems with a battery-powered leak detector. Of course, batteries can wear out. Still, an option between the two might have been nice. I did not install the leak detector, so this is just an observation. Overall, I am very pleased with the system despite my concerns and observations. The system is simple and sturdy. The water is creates tastes great and looks crystal clear. My only regret is not having purchased it sooner.

5-STAR WATER FILTRATION PERFORMANCE WITH NO LEAKS 5-STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH LIVE USA BASED, KNOWLEDGABLE TECH SUPPORT I’d researched residential water filtration systems for a while. I kept coming back to iSpring. BEFORE YOU BUY: MEASURE YOUR WATER PRESSURE (PSI) AND TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLIDS (TDS/PPM) then contact iSpring and they’ll recommend the system optimized for your unique water issues. I purchased a ppm digital water meter for around $20 at plumbing supply store, ran my ‘cold’ sink water and wrote down my ppm. Install a water pressure gauge (psi gauge) which may require a plumber, or purchase a gauge with a female threaded end to connect to a garden hose or utility sink with a threaded faucet. Last resort is if you are on municipal water, call your city water department, provide your address and ask for the psi to your address, they’ll give you an ‘estimated’ psi range. Record your ‘static’ psi readings when no water is running in the building. A psi reading, when water is flowing, may result in a slightly lower reading (depending on how the building is plumbed). If you are in a multi-family dwelling, verify if you are on separate water meters, if not, try and take several readings at low water use times, such as early mornings before neighbors wake, then calculate the average psi. Call iSpring, give them your ppm and static psi readings. They will advise you on the correct system to meet your unique water ppm and psi readings. Low psi residences may require an iSpring system with a water pressure pump, whereas high psi residences may require a system with an iSpring factory preset pressure reducer. iSpring is engineered to provide optimum performance between 45-70 static psi. The closer you can get to 70 psi, without going over, the better the RO filter will work and last. iSpring provides 5-STAR product support. I called and spoke to Nick a customer support manager, a real U.S.A. based professionally trained tech support specialist who has the answers memorized and is not reading a script. Inside the shipping box flap is a QR code. I suggest you scan it and watch the highly produced installation video and use it often. Each installation step has individually wrapped corresponding parts with individual installation instruction booklets. Installation is fool-proof. When you install and begin cutting tubes, never cut with scissors, pilers, serrated blades or knife. Each locking clip has a tab, the tab must always face the tube and not fitting. I had no leaks first time out. Mount the filter metal manifold - with the 3 pre-filters - before you flush them, as flushing the system with water will add weight and make it difficult for one person to lift and mount it. I suggest getting some scrap 2”x4” lumber or brick pavers to rest the pre-filter canisters on while you mark your screw holes with your sharpie marker. Be certain to mount the bracket high enough to leave room below to remove the pre-filter canisters. Install mounting screws, check for fit, then place the system on a towel on the floor during the entire installation process to assure full view of all fittings and inspect for leaks. Hang the filter manifold as your last step, leave the tube slack and zip tie them out of the way. The 3 Pre-filter canister O-rings are loose fit into a groove and should be installed vertically into the manifold to prevent the O-rings from unseating while you hand tighten. Don’t lay the canisters down to install them. Once installed, stand the filter system on a towel on the floor, then begin the filter flush step as directed and watch for leaks. If leaks appear, use the wrench turning it slowly until the leak stops, then stop tightening. This prevents over tightening and leaking. iSpring systems are designed to operate in a maximum ambient temperature of 100 degrees F. For hot climates, I suggest purchasing 3M Company adhesive cupboard door stops. They are rubber pads with glue backing. Stick them on the inside of your frame so they contact the cupboard door and create a gap between your cupboard door and frame to allow air circulation. Hang a thermometer in the cupboard to be sure. After installing your iSpring system, the remineralization stage releases more minerals over time as it breaks-in, so your ppm will increase. Furthermore, your static water pressure (psi) has an inverse relation to remineralization. The higher the psi, the lower the minerals released. A psi close to 70 will increase system filtering, life of your RO filter and decrease waste water. CONCLUSION: From my experience: iSpring provides world-class product support and filtration system. My water system has no leaks, and is currently providing water, with minerals added, at 10 ppm. We recently installed the iSpring RCC7AK reverse osmosis water filtration system, and we've been very happy with it. The installation was straightforward, but it's worth taking your time and carefully following each step. We did run into one issue because we went back and forth between the YouTube installation video and the manual and overlooked the step of flushing the three pre-filters until the water ran clear before connecting the RO membrane. As a result, the RO membrane became clogged, and the system wasn't functioning properly. I reached out to customer support, and Laurence provided outstanding service. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and guided me through the troubleshooting process via email. He even sent detailed video instructions on how to check the tank pressure. Once we determined that the RO membrane had become clogged during installation, Laurence promptly express-shipped a replacement. After installing the new membrane, the system has been performing exactly as expected. With our water pressure at 65 psi, we're seeing a wastewater ratio of approximately 2.5–3:1, the flow rate is excellent for filling bottles, and the water tastes noticeably cleaner and fresher. It's reassuring knowing we're drinking high-quality filtered water every day. One modification I made was adding a tee fitting and shutoff valve to the 1/4-inch drain line. This allows me to divert the wastewater into a bucket for watering plants or simply close the valve and have it drain into the kitchen plumbing as originally designed. I bought the iSpring RCC7AK Reverse Osmosis System for my outdoor kitchen because the tap water in my area tastes awful, and I was tired of hauling heavy 5-gallon water jugs back and forth. Installation The instructions were a little confusing at first, but once I slowed down and focused, everything made sense. The color-coded hoses and connectors made a huge difference—red to red, blue to blue, etc.—which kept the install straightforward. All the main parts were included, but I did need to pick up a cheap T-connector from the store (about $3), which wasn’t a big deal. One thing worth mentioning: since this is a reverse osmosis system, it does require access to a drain line for the wastewater. That’s standard for RO systems, but it’s not really called out super clearly in the listing. Probably not an issue for most under-sink installs, but something to be aware of depending on your setup. The kit does include the needed parts to access and secure the drain line. Water Quality The biggest win here is the taste. The RO system completely removes the bad taste from our tap water, and the remineralization + “taste polishing” stage really makes a difference. The water tastes clean, crisp, and honestly better than what we were getting from bottled delivery. Stage 1 is 20 micron & stage 2 is 10 micron, both sediment filters. The output of this 2-stage filter connects to iSpring RO - reverse osmosis stage 1, 5 micron sediment filter. ▪ To keep an eye on the system water pressure, I installed a water pressure gauge. This is VERY handy, as the reading drops when purified water is being produced & levels off as the purified water tank is full. After a few cycles, you have the normal readings. ▪ After the water filtration system had been in operation awhile, I started to wonder when the brine - waste water was flowing. My concern was a failed ASOV - automatic shutoff valve failure which could allow constant waste water flow. To provide a visual indication of brine - waste water flow, I installed a Rotameter LZM-15 flow meter. See my attached pictures. This flow meter won't work as it comes, but with a simple modification (see my flow meter product review for details), it will provide a visual indication of when brine - waste water is flowing. Closing remarks: ▪ Since this RO - reverse osmosis water filtration system was installed, there has been no need to buy distilled or bottled drinking water. ▪ The flow rate from our kitchen mounted faucet, about 15 feet away from the filtration system, is 0.5 gallons (1/2 gallon) per minute. ▪ System startup, first TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) reading: tap - city water = 100 to 98 ppm ► RO - reverse osmosis water = 3 to 4 ppm ▪ You will have to replace the filtration system filters in about a year... the RO membrane can last a 2 to 3 years (depending on the quality of your water source), so it's wise to start shopping around for replacement filters. These can be found reasonably priced, if you don't need them right away & can shop around. I have enough filters on hand for 2+ years. :) ► Update - June 7, 2017 ▪ The RO - reverse osmosis water filtration system has been working perfectly! Since we installed this water filtration, there been no need to purchase bottled water. ▪ On my recent TDS - total dissolved solids test. Tap water = 110 ppm & the RO water = 9 ppm. ▪ The city water... tap water TDS, shown above, is 110 ppm. The RO brine - waste water TDS is about 20 ppm higher. ▪ It's summer, so we're recycling the RO brine - waste water in the raised bed vegetable garden & to water the flower beds. ▪ We have to admit the amount of brine - waste water was a bit shocking, when we started saving it, but that is the nature of the RO - reverse osmosis water filtration system. 2:1 to 3:1... meaning, amount of brine - waste water >to> purified water produced. This isn't too bad if you can recycle the waste water! ▪ The city we live in calculates our sewer billing on the amount of water we use, so it makes sense to recycle the RO brine - waste water! ► Update - October 24, 2019 ▪ The system has been working perfectly, still on the original filter! The TSD has gone up slightly & the brine -waste water is running 3:1 or more, so the system filter replacement is on our to do list! ▪ I added a new picture of our six 5 gallon black buckets we use to save our brine - waste water to be recycled.

Who knew I'd be glad there is no outlet under my sink? I bought this system after quite a bit of research because, without an outlet easily available for one of the much-more-expensive RO systems with a built in pump for high flow rates, this system seemed best for (1) ease of install and maintenance and (2) a straightforward remineralization option. Plus (3) it is relatively affordable, and (4) other reviewers have noted that the company is especially helpful with issues. So: (1) I did in fact install this myself with absolutely no prior experience with plumbing. I watched the installation video before ordering, so I knew I'd need to be comfortable drilling into my counter and sink discharge. In the end I got lucky and managed to get the faucet through my old sprayer hole in a 4-hole sink--I went ahead and updated the sink faucet to a sprayer model while I had the water supply shut off. Drilling into PVC was a new thing for me and I did have doubts several times because PVC is so slippery, but starting with the smallest bit and incrementing up one bit size at a time got me there! No leaks, and the rest of the install was absurdly straightforward plug-and-play, with most issues caused by my ancient plumbing (the hot water shut off under the sink has corroded, which didn't matter for the RO install but proved mildly annoying when replacing the main faucet). (2) More studies are needed on whether remineralization is better for your health, but I love the taste of the remineralized water despite hating my very hard pre-filtered water. I am fairly confident that I could easily bypass the remineralization step if desired. Being a massive nerd, I have subjected my guests to blind taste tests and they do choose the RO output as tastier than the unfiltered tap water but I think several would prefer the non-remineralized output, I am saving that experiment for when I have more time! (3) Turns out that this system outputs just the right amount of water for a hydrohomie household of 3. I wash fruit and veg with it, and fill all our water bottles for the day, plus fill water glasses when hosting small parties, and have not needed more capacity than the tank supplies. It's also super quiet, since it doesn't have an electric pump. I'm so glad I didn't stress about the lack of under-sink outlet because this more affordable option is actually perfect for my needs! (4) I did snap the tank valve on install which means I also get to weigh in on customer support. Nick was awesome! I tried using the online support form but the captcha thought I was a robot, so I called--Nick was patient and helpful on the phone, followed up promptly by email, and sent me two replacement valves that arrived in a few business days at no additional cost to me. Since this mistake on my end did put me back a couple of days on install, I will take this opportunity to recommend that you for sure follow the instructions not to overtighten the tank valve, which is clearly specified in the paper instructions but I wasn't thinking much about it because I'm a smaller person and rarely manage to overtighten anything. Good news is that even if you stall out a bit on the mostly straightforward install, it's super straightforward to turn off the RO supply and continue to use your usual faucet until you're ready for the next step. (The other adult in my household spent some time quite concerned that I'd need the whole house supply off while we awaited an emergency plumber, this is absolutely not a real concern!) Overall, if you're comfortable with a drill and a couple wrenches and have successfully put together flat pack furniture, and you check out your cabinet space/sink plumbing in advance, you should be able to install this yourself in a single day while still enjoying the use of all your other plumbing, and then you'll have plenty of lovely tasty water with no fuss. And even if you do manage to snap the tank valve somehow, you can still enjoy the use of all your other plumbing and also Nick will help, still no fuss!

I should have bought this to start with. For 30 years I had been buying R/O units and parts from another company that specializes in water filters. When my old system developed another age-related leak in the cartridge holder I decided to replace the whole unit. I saw this item on Amazon but went ahead with my old company. It was a nice unit but it had a couple of minor leaks that I had to fix while installing it. Five months later it had a major leak all night all over the kitchen and family room. So I came back to Amazon and iSpring and so far this has been a great unit. It came well-packed with plenty of spare parts and a big instruction book (it could use some better editing.) It even had a leak shutoff unit that I hadn't noticed in the description - it's really nice. The unit was easy to install, no leaks and I'll update this review if anything happens in the next few months. One note - unlike other systems that flush the membrane and everything else when new cartridges are put in, this one instructs you to disconnect the hose to the r/o membrane and flush the 3 buckets of water and then reconnect. It's a great idea but the hose is too short to reach into a bucket. I'm going to replace this hose with a long hose with a couple of loops in it so I'll have plenty of hose when I replace the cartridges next year.

Very happy with my purchase, system works well and haven't any issues with leaking, water pressure etc. Love the "taste" of water, so pure compared to my regular kitchen tap. Hopefully it will help me to get rid of my skin issues that I have been experiencing due to poor quality in Perth, Australia. Edit: THIS Filter has saved my skin!!! I have managed to get rid of my extremely bad eczema which no cream / ointment could heal. 3 year update - still love the filters, I don’t drink any other water than my filtered water. If anyone is considering buying a good water filter, look no further! The iSpring 7-Stage 75 GPD UV Ultra Violet Alkaline Mineral Reverse Osmosis Water System is what you want. If you think you might need help, do not worry! The customer service is excellent! They will make you feel nice and comfortable when you contact them. I am not sure if I can find the right words to express how fantastic experience I have had with iSpring exceptional customer service! But let's start from the beginning (not from Adam and Eve though, do not worry! LOL). Why I have bought a water filter. Most people do not know that the mineral water sold in plastic bottles is not healthy at all. There are 7 types of plastics and plastic containers are marked with a triangle of three "chasing arrows", which encloses a number giving the plastic type. The plastics which are typically used to hold water but also soft drinks, juice, sports drinks, beer, mouthwash, ketchup, and salad dressing are made from a plastic marked as number 1. That indicates that those containers are made of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). Although that plastic is considered to be safe, it contains antimony, a metalloid element with toxic qualities, which leaches from PET. The rate of leakage increases with temperature and can yield unhealthy levels in bottles stored in higher temperature. Antimony can cause acute and chronic health issues, such as diarrhoea, vomiting, and stomach ulcers. Brominated compounds can also leach into PET bottles. They can irritate the skin, mucous membranes, and tissues. If you bear in mind that even though the levels of toxins leached from PET could be considered as on a safe level, they may accumulate in your system over a period of time becoming a serious health risk. That is why I decided to install a multilevel water filtration system at my home. Why I have bought iSpring 7-Stage 75 GPD UV Ultra Violet Alkaline Mineral Reverse Osmosis Water System. The iSpring 7-Stage 75 GPD UV Ultra Violet Alkaline Mineral Reverse Osmosis Water System seemed to be the best offer on the market. It cleans your water from everything you need for a good price. I was not sure if I should order the system with or without the booster pump. I live in a big city and I thought the city water pressure should be strong enough to work with the system so I decided to go for the one without the booster pump. My buying experience. The order arrived quickly and before I even started installing the system, I received an e-mail from iSpring to thank for the purchase and to say that if the Feed Water Adapter (AFW) that taps into the cold water line did not fit my plumbing specifications, they would fully refund (shipping included) for the order of the AFWs that I needed. They included two links to AFWs which I could choose from. Once I ordered the AFW, I e-mailed iSpring customer service and almost instantly I was issued the full refund for my order! My installation experience. The installation of the system was easy. The package contained a very easy instruction with colour photos leading you through all the steps of the process. If you do everything as the instruction manual says, you will be fine. I did not have any problem at all, no leakage whatsoever. My surprise. Everything was fine but I noticed that my water tank stored only 2-2.5 litres of water. I wanted to use filtered water not only for drinking and cooking but also for washing fruits and vegetables and that volume of water was not acceptable for me. My contact with the customers service. I e-mailed customer service and they replied very quickly giving me a short check list. It was very easy to follow the instruction and give the system a check. The whole process took a couple of minutes. Further instructions made us come to a conclusion that my water pressure was below 45 psi and that was a problem. I needed a system with a booster pump. I was too optimistic thinking that my city water should be fine and I did not need the booster pump. Once we identified the problem, the iSpring customer service came with a solution. To make it easier for me and avoid possibly a bit complicated installation of the booster pump and its components on my existing system, they offered ordering a machine head with a booster pump factory installed. And here comes the best! As they understood that the water storage was of great inconvenience to me, they reduced the price of the machine head from 90 to 50 dollars! Since it had to be shipped from iSpring office in the United States, not the shop in the United Kingdom, where I live, that would generate some extra costs of shipping and the import tax. iSpring customer service offered me splitting the costs of shipping and the import tax! Solving the problem. My problem was solved. After installation the machine head with booster pump, the tank stores about 10 litres of water and that is what I need! I can hardly hear the pump working. The water pressure is very good and the tank fills up very quickly. The water tastes fantastic, much better than bottled water, no plastic aftertaste. My final thoughts. What else would you want from a customer service?! They could not do anything more or better! They are exceptionally kind, understanding, efficient, and professional! I highly recommend iSpring water to everybody. They are like a good friend, who is always around when you need them. I was very lucky having chosen iSpring and their product.

We’ve been using the iSpring RCC7AK system for a few weeks now, and we are genuinely impressed! The installation went smoothly, and the components feel high quality. Big thanks to Nick from the customer service team — he was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the registration process. One of the most impressive things: we’ve been using filtered water from the system in our glass electric kettle every day for two weeks — and there is absolutely no limescale at all. Not a trace. This alone is a sign of how well the system works. The faucet looks great and works perfectly, and the tank provides more than enough water for our daily use. Highly recommended! REF; RCC7AK 6 STAGE RO SYSTEM: Firstly, I would like to say that the customer service at iSpring is exceptional - Francis to be specific. I had a very minor issue that did not scare me away from this product nor create any annoyance re. installation. Francis quickly contacted and helped rectify a very minor issue I had, following up with me to try and rectify the issue asap - thank you Francis! Packaging & instructions/fitting: The box arrived well packed and packed so well that I would not expect damage during transit. Each item was in its own box and had very little movement. The items came out of the box easily and had no damage. Well packed. The instructions for the assembly and fitment were very detailed. If self-fitting this unit, you probably have some kind of idea about what you are doing so you may not need to use the instructions as gospel, but they do provide a very well detailed and easy to follow assembly instruction. The flow diagram was welcomed too. A nice quick reference guide to hosing. This helped me more than the instructions - I find visual instruction easier than detailed description instruction. Whether you work in fluid engineering or fancy the DIY challenge, the instructions supplied will certainly allow you to install with ease. It took me about an hour to install and commission/leak check. The unit (although it looks rather large) fits very easily inside of my 900mm wide cupboard. It even allows for space around the filtration unit and the reservoir for placing filter spares etc. It certainly surprised me with how well the unit fits inside of my cupboard. I expected to assemble it, offer it up to the cupboard only to find it was too large to fit and then need to send it back… but I could fit two RCC7AK 6 Stage systems inside of my cupboard. Perhaps it opens scope to add further filters elements onto this system in the future… Filters are easy to change. This unit comes with a filter housing removal tool to provide leverage on the housing. Install the filtration system above the base of your unit to allow ease of filter change. There is a detailed commissioning instruction near the end of the instruction so please do follow this for the correct initial start-up procedure to purge the pre-osmosis filters (ensuring you do not put carbon deposits into the RO (reverse osmosis) membrane. Supplied parts: During assembly, I happened to think to myself 'a 90 elbow fitting would be perfect here'... they had thought of that and supplied multiple fittings! More than I needed. The length of piping was perfect. I used about half of what was provided - even with a drain line that extended far down the waste pipe into the next cupboard (install horizontal and away from the u-bend trap to eliminate a dripping noise and potential backing up of sink waste into the drain-line in the event of blockage). All parts supplied fitted my standard UK kitchen (15mm comp / 1/2" BSPP) but I did use some PTFE between the threads just to seal them as the thread form is NPT and my kitchen is BSP (thread angles are slightly different and therefore do not mate perfectly). I have had no leaks in the week I have had fitted. Taste/Testing: The taste is incredible. It tastes pure and clean. No tang or bitterness. It tastes purer than the purest bottled water I have tasted. I will now avoid drinking water that has not been through my RO system. Bottled water at a push! I have (glass) bottles stored in the fridge filled with my RO water. Bottled water is nice... but iSpring RO water is second to none. I agree with another review here that I fill my bottle with this water and take it everywhere I go. See the images for the testing. I believe that these images speak for themselves. Obviously, the RO water cannot be TDS free due to the remineralisation process but down to 47PPM from 435PPM is an incredible job and there is a clear difference in the ‘clean’ taste even between RO water and bottled water. This is evidence enough that the water is truly forced through the osmosis filter. Alkalinity of this water is slightly higher (TAP is 7.66pH, BOTTLED is 8.70pH *Sometimes artificially raised using Bicarbonate of soda, RCC7AK RO is 9.72pH). Yes, I did calibrate my pH meter prior to use! I am yet to perform some detailed research into the difference a higher pH water provides but brief research suggests that it is easier for the body to consume. I will take higher pH being better for the body at face value at this point for this review. Overview: I would suggest that this unit is installed in every home for the sake of reducing the number of chemicals that are consumed through water. At the very least, bottled water should be consumed. Avoid tap water! For the small cost (yes, the cost of this unit is relatively low) this unit is 100% worth purchasing. Fitting is easy, it comes with a nice outlet for the water, water tastes incredible, and the customer service is outstanding. Every home should be fitting one of these units. And whilst you are at it... consider stopping using fluoride containing products such as toothpaste and mouthwash. Use fluoride-free alternatives. I have personally noticed positive differences with regard to dental/mental health. BUY the iSpring RCC7AK! – I was not provided any incentive to leave this review.
