Superb
This is a most-excellent made-in-USA tool. I carve wood signs and art on a CNC machine, often with a profile pass to cut the piece out. The way I work, there is always .01mm to .03mm layer of wood left on the bottom. I use a variety of tools to finish the cutout but recently started using my Exacto knife... the regular pencil-looking knife with the standard really small blade. I went looking for larger blades that might work better and found this Excel knife and decided to give it a try. It's fantastic! Feels great in the hand. Makes it easier to use the knife and control movement over the regular knife you're used to. Very well made and has a nice weight to it. The plastic cap is also a bonud. Very pleased with my purchase, excellent value and a productivity booster.

Don't buy X-Acto, but this!
Well made, feels sturdy. The X-ACTO version of this size handle snapped while in use. The red handle model that takes the heavier duty blades. The company makes garbage. Excel makes good quality stuff!
