Nice Quality, Good Purchase

Smells very noxious when first opened
A pretty, wooden set. But…. You will need to leave open, in well ventilated area, to off gas some serious fumes from whatever was used to make it, when you first open it. The board is nice looking, but the game pieces are very lightweight plastic that slide all over the slippery wooden board with every role of the dice. The dice cups don’t rest on the side of board during play and the game pieces don’t lay in a row because they’re much smaller than the opening where they go. Not well thought out but looks nice on the shelf.

Extremely well made! What a great deal for the price!
My kind hubby and I love unwinding with a few rousing games of backgammon. This set was extremely affordable and surprisingly well made. Quite attractive. Buy it! You'll love it! Makes a great gift!!

Adequate
The backgammon game came in a wooden case/board as described. The rest of the set, stones and cups, is very cheaply made. I'm glad I didn't pay the full price for it, even the sale price of $20 was probably too much. I purchased it so my husband and I could play while we're at our son's house, so it'll do.

size issues, and matiriel used.
unfurtuanatly kid opened it and throw the box before i came home to see it, dice are too big, playing parts are hollow plastic, and not wood, going to end up looking for another more proper set to buy, with proper small dice and proper sizer board with full wood playing parts, and not just the box, also there is no closers when folding it.

Beautiful backgammon board
I had a previous backgammon board carrying case, but this one is far better quality and much nicer, so I decided to part with the old one keep the new one. I highly recommend this backgammon board set.
