A Great Product. Pricey Though
I have used these for a couple of month now. These are my comments thus far. After I've had them for more time I can comment on durability.Likes:* They are very comfortable, on and off the bike, even with the thigh pads installed.* They have very good armor in all the places you need it: knee, hip, thigh, and coccyx area. Most pants may have knee armor, and just padding in other locations.* I typically wear these under a pair of Kevlar lined jeans. I feel I'm getting very good protection, yet I can walk around and unless someone looks closely, it appears I'm wearing regular jeans.* Unlike some other armored pants I have, where the armor is in the actual pant, this holds the armor tightly in place. I have confidence the armor will be positioned where it is supposed to be, if I ever need it.* Made in the US is a plus for me.*Dislike:* While the material seems sturdy, it is thin. I understand that this is necessary to make them comfortable and breathable, but think the material could have been a little thicker. I hope they last.* Because of the thin material the pads can shift and flip over when you put them on or remove them. They can be repositioned easily, so this is not a big deal, but it can be annoying. The more you use it, the easier it is to put them on.* Very pricey and not available at a discount anywhere. Unfortunately there are no similar products on the market that offer the same protection.*I wear 32-34 pants with a 32 in inseam. I bought medium and the fit is perfect.Overall I'm very satisfied with them and recommend them.

Went a size small glad I did, nice pants!
Great Pants! I bordered on the X-S and S, (I'm 5'7 155lbs) the pants came in and while the pants have some stretch, they aren't quite spandex, they are a bit thicker. Enough so I'm not afraid they will get a run in them. Stitching is heavy and well sewn, zippers at the leg bottom to help put socks under or over, whichever is your preference (no fly zipper). They are snug like tight sweatpants but breathe well and the pads keep in place perfectly once under my jeans, (this is the main reason to lean small), if they were larger I could see the pads swim a little. Shin and knee pads are 1 piece that flex nicely below the knee, all pads (Shin, knee, hip, tailbone) are in the pants, thigh protectors are included but removable as an option. I hope I never test these in person but I sure feel better having them on. The pant/pads are a perfect cool option a step below racing gear for hidden comfort and protection.

Required if you wear jeans. Great added protection if you wear riding pants
The quality of these pants is excellent. I was very pleased to have all the armor fit close to my body but in no way did it get in the way or encumber.Got these to go under Kevlar jeans and my regular riding pants. I can't imagine riding without these when the jeans are on-you need both abrasion and impact protection so the two work together. They also work well under regular riding pants. I have a pair of Tourmaster Calibers and these Bohn pants augment the protection in them well. The problem with almost all riding clothes is that they fit loosely and you risk them being out of place in a crash. With Bohn pants you have the confidence they will be in the right place if you have a mishap.I considered these and the Forcefield pants and I think it all comes down to how much you want their armor which is probably superior to the Bohn. But those pants are $100 more. It's true what they say about these being undetectable under jeans. They work well even with my Levis 514s.Update 2016-04 - I am still satisfied with these pants but have a few niggles that will downgrade to 4 stars.* I find the pants to be uncomfortable if I wear them for more than an hour. Usually have to wear briefs underneath to prevent chafing from the seams.* The coccyx armor s***s to the side. At least it's there but does not sit as designed.* If wearing certain boots the zipper digs in to my ankle and becomes uncomfortable.* Not sure if they have stretched or what but now find I have to pull them up to my navel to get the hip armor to seat in the right place.Human nature may get you focusing on these niggles but I would have to say after being around moto crashes that you need to have your armor in place if you want to minimize the damage. So with these downsides in mind I still recommend these.

Great armored pants
To help you with fitment here are my measurements:I'm a male, 5'9, 168lbs, 30in inseam and wear 32in jeans, but my waist is probably closer to 31 inches. I bought a small and it fits perfectly! It's tight enough so that armors won't move around but not tight enough that my belly fat will roll over the pants.I thought that it might be a bit uncomfortable since it's like wearing spandex with a lot of plastic pieces, but contrary to my beliefs this thing is SUPER comfortable. I rode my bike around town yesterday with the armor on and I didn't even realize that it was there. With the protection to shins, knees, thighs, hips, and tailbone it feels like your entire lower body is covered in armor. I wore my 32in classic-cut AG jeans over the armor and they fit with plenty of room. However, if you're one of those people that wear skinny jeans, you might want to reconsider getting a different pair.I also walked my dog with the armored pants on and noticed that the knee pad was slipping down slightly. However, when you're in a riding position the armors stay firmly in its intended positions. The crotch area is mesh so your men/women area could breathe. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the purchase.
