So last week I went to Canada for a weeklong flying fishing trip. I’ve never used a jerk bait before, but heard good things so brought a couple of these to try. My very first cast I landed a 33 inch pike Simply doing a jerk jerk pause cadence. Throughout the week, I caught a boatload of fish with the jerk bait, and it was an absolute blast to fish this style compared to just trolling or jigging.
