Stansport Sandpiper Sand Chair

The seat ripped 2 days after my return window expired. I was sitting on the edge instead of in the middle, which I think is part of the problem. It's an inexpensive chair, but you don't get great quality for that price.

I am 6'1" 185 pound male and have other sand chairs.This one is too small, the backrest has too high an angle,and its most glaring weakness is the bar above the cloth backrest sticks in your back and spine.Not a relaxing day at the beach. I wanted to use and like but back it goes.In defense,it might be good for a small kid.

The chair seemed pretty durable. It was great for the beach, especially because it doesn't take up a lot of room and it is easy to carry. A must if you travel with kids and need to save space in your car. It keeps you off the sand and with a place to rest your back. I would recommend it.

I ordered two chairs and wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews. They are definitely low to the ground (I mean your bum is literally inches from the sand) but they are great chairs! Very light weight and easy to carry across the beach. They are also very nice looking and clearly good quality.

We bought two of these chairs. They are TINY. My husband and I are average sized adults and we just don't fit in them. My rear (average rear) can barely squeeze in and the metal bar hits me in the middle of my back (I'm 5'7). My husband can't get in at all. The chairs are perfect for our children who are 5 and 8. In addition, one came dented. We're keeping them because our kids like them, but otherwise they would be going back.

let me put it like this...I rather buy a regular fold up chair at walmart that is seven dollars and more comfortable...not sure sure if beach chair and comfortable is synonymous ....especially with this chair...I sent mine back... surprised?
