No bait included
This is just a box with the trap inside. I didnโt use it yet as I had to place another order for the bait.

Job done
Worked the first day. Heard a bang at the door about 11pm and checked next morning and could see something dark in the box. Use a tiny bit of peanut butter. I used a screw driver to place it on the pad as the mouse needs a decent amount of pressure to trip the plate. I also sat a brick on top of the box and hid it behind a plant pot to make it look like their normal run.

Caught a large mouse within a week
Some people will complain if they don't have instant results within a day or two. You have to understand that it could take a week or a month or any time between one day and month , probably longer to catch mice and rats. I have a rodent problem with a few years and last year rats took up residence in my attic and walls. With about five or more years I can hear the mice and shrews and mice in my attic if they're not running around in my attic on the insulation. About 90% of the time they're running on the insulation so I won't hear them run around up there. But for about six months up to march this year they were scurrying around on the bare plasterboard on the ceiling. The morale of the story is just because you can't hear them it doesn't mean they're not up there. On to the reason of my rant. I have three other types of rat trap and two other types of mouse traps in my attic. I have three cameras up there watching the traps. Theres a large sized mouse that was running around in my attic with three weeks. It was resting on the trigger of three of the rat snap traps without setting them off. It was easily touching the trigger of two of the mouse traps and eating peanut butter out of the bait cup in the trap without setting them off. I put two of these traps down up in my attic six days ago. One where I am 100% sure it was running around. I looked at my cameras this morning and I saw insulation moved around so I checked the enclosed traps and the mouse that was able to evade being caught in my other traps was caught in one of these traps. The trigger in these traps is very sensitive which is what you need. A lot of traps have a trigger that just is'nt sensitive enough. You have to be aware that rodents are more intelligent that they're given credit for plus they have neo phobia (The fear of something new). Also if they see another rodent caught in a trap or if they see a rodent getting caught in a trap they have just learned to avoid the trap. Especially rats are very very clever. You need to change your tactics from time to time and try to have two or three different types of trap and not go for whats very popular. Rats know to avoid the standard snap trap and 70% of rats are immune from store bought poison. Long story short. Do not expect results within one or two days. It could take weeks but It could take less than 24 hours. People and pest control told me to have patience but with the thought of rodents in my walls of getting into my house is scarey to me. So you're forgiven if you lose patience.

Extremely effective!
These mouse traps are highly effective, but I have to admit that the bait that was already supplied by the company, did not lure the mice at all, hence the 4 stars. Luckily we had some peanut butter, which isn't just any peanut butter, but is actually organic peanut butter. Just like us, they have expensive tastes. Two mice have been caught in the trap, and each kill was clean. I will say that these traps are very sensitive, so please be careful. It took 2 days for the first mouse to get caught in this trap, but I believe that was because of the container. The next mouse was caught the very next day after I removed the trap from its container. UPDATE: Another mouse was caught in the trap, but this time it was alive as its hind leg got caught in the trap.

The Best Clean Catch Mouse Trap
This is the most effective mouse trap compared to all the others. Pros 1. The Lid Is A Cloudy White Color. You can see if something is caught, WITHOUT having to look DIRECTLY at it . Perfect for people who are squeamish. Black and Clear lids force you to look inside the box. 2. Clean to Dispose. The Lid is locked, it is sturdy and not flimsy. Disposing is quick clean and easy. You can just throw away the box in a trash bag. If you want to re-use the box again; it has a key to unlock if you want to throw away the trap and catch without touching the inside of the box. 3. It is a quick kill. The rodent would not make noise during the night and wake people up, and it would not suffer locked inside. 4. The trap is loud. It is easy to know when you caught something. The independent trap inside, makes a huge clap sound, when activated. Cons 1. It is a single catch box. It catches one mouse at a time. It is not a multi-catch box, but you can place many boxes around each affected area. 2. Suitable for small to medium sized rodents. The size of the box is not for large rodents. This can be useful or not depending on your situation.
