awesome for Funko collectors
I used this to create an “effigy” of my Funko-collecting boyfriend for Christmas. It accepted directly being painted, as well as having clay attached and dried to it with a heat gun. The outcome wasn't as perfect as a genuine Funko Pop character, but that probably speaks more to my crafting skills than the product itself. Made for a brilliant Christmas surprise. The only downside is that the carton doesn't have any blank spaces for you to write in who you've created, so after punching some holes in the plastic liner (for the hair &c to fit back inside) I ended up gluing some blank cardstock to the outside to label it. Well worth the price for creating something truly unique for a collector.

Cute, fun
Very cute figure, perfect for customizing, especially if you can't find pre-existing Funko Pops to use as bases, or if you just want to work from a blank slate. My one complaint is that the neck plug thing (the large disc thing) is too close to the shoulder area. Even after removing the head, the disc is so close to the shoulders it makes it difficult to do detail work in those areas.(I ordered 2 of these and it was the same way on both, so I don't think it was just a one-time thing.) It would be better if the stick thing that serves as the neck was a tad longer, like it is on the other Pops I own. I attempted to sand down the shoulders to create more space but it didn't really accomplish much.Overall, though, I'm pleased with the product. It really is a great way to let your imagination run wild. I haven't actually finished my project, but the blank slate allows for infinite possibilities, limited only by yourself and what you can dream up.I also think it would be cool if Funko would make a wider variety of these, such as ones with different hand positions, different postures/poses, smaller feet and the like. :)

Absolutely Awesome!
Absolutely awesome!! My younger brother passed back in July, and we both liked collecting the pop figures. I thought it would be cool if I could make something like that, and a friend mentioned that these were for sale. Best thing ever! One of our friends saw the pics I shared of what I was painting and now he is wanting to do a few himself. We're going to customize the box's as well and add them to our pop collections!

Painted it with my dad
My dad collects funko pops and I thought it would be a cool activity to customize this with paint. We ended up painting it like our cat and it worked I just wish I could also customize the box.

So cool. It is a blank canvas. I can make anyone into a Dunk POP doll!
I bought one for my son and I got a girl one for me. I can’t wait to paint it to look like him and hand it to him. How many products give us the opportunitY to see a version of ourselves in merch they are selling? They give you a website to check out for coloring and clay ideas for your dolls too. I LOVE these dolls.

Kids love these.
I bought these to have a fun craft to do with my girlfriend’s kids. They were so excited to create their own Pop character. We had so much fun making these. We used play doh and markers. The kids used washable markers and made it even more fun because they were able to clean them off and make new ones over and over.I’ve seen custom made ones, and those are great, too.Whether you’re looking to create a real pop of yourself, commission an artist to make one, or just a fun arts and crafts activity for the kids, this is definitely something to buy.

Exactly What I wanted.
I've been working on a limited edition collection of characters from my book series, and these D.I.Y. figures are perfect.- Easily modded using Apoxie and coping saw- They take acrylic paint and inks well (though I advocate priming them first with gesso after your final mods are done).-Make sure you spray coat them with a clear sealant meant for acrylics before you let people handle them. I use a gloss coat first (let it dry), then apply the final matte coats. Doing this will make them more resistant to scratches and make them easier to clean if you have to.About the figures shown:Figure 1. Tall one on left - Nash X. KorpesFigure 2. Short one on right - Davis Trent"The Korpes File Series"Series Genre: Science Fiction/Cyberpunk/Dystopian FictionBooks 1 and 2 are available on Amazon, and through most fine retailers.I own all rights to these characters.
