Preordered Nov 3rd for the second time(original preorder was back in October, but redid to take advantage of Watch Dogs 2 promo) and just received an email that I'll be receiving it on January 4th now!

does this work with linux

Linux has officially supported NVMe since kernel version 3.3, which is quite old at this point, so unless you're running a super old (5+ years) distribution it should work fine.
