Tried and True
Adapalene is simply a great product. I think people assume it’s not powerful because it’s OTC, but the fact that it’s well tolerated compared to prescription retinols is what makes it more effective. You can use it without major irritation, without totally drying your skin, and consistent use is the key — not strength. I use it every other night before bed. I layer it with a moisturizer. In the winter it can make my skin a little flaky, but even then my skin isn’t dry, it’s just renewing. No flaking in the rest of the year. Unscented. Non-greasy. Non-irritating. I’m 36 and regularly told I look like I’m in my 20s. Have been using adapalene for at least about 8-9 years.

Wow
I have been using this for about 2 months now. After the first month there was hardly any change in my breakouts, but I noticed there were no new breakouts. I did read that .1% adapalene takes a while to actually see results. I kept going because at least the breakouts were not worse right? After about maybe a month and a half i reallyyyy started to notice an improvement. And I am floored after 2 months, because my face is almost fully clear. I have not seen my face like this in years! I have tried sooooo many different products including The Ordinary retinol in squalane (made me break out like crazy even after months so I had to stop), Salycilic acid, benzoyl peroxide. They just don't work for me. THIS adapalene that I didn't even really know about is the only thing that I have been able to see a visible improvement with. I feel like it's too good to be true. I use Adapalene at night and in the morning I use The Ordinary Azaleic Acid on a clean face. And that's it. No special washes or serums, just regular soap. I am amazed

Dupe for La Roche-Posay Adapalene
I have been using La Roche-Posay’s Adapalene gel for around 4 years now, and it has done wonders for my skin. However, the price is high at $40. Even though you only need a tiny dot every night, making the tube last a while, it’s still expensive! So I obviously started looking for a cheaper dupe. Since AcneFree is under L’Oréal, the same parent company as La Roche-Posay, and they're both made in vaguely India, I was hoping they would be the same product. After using the AcneFree Adapalene Gel consistently for about two months, it feels exactly the same to me. The smell, texture, and even the packaging/tube feel nearly identical aside from the design. I fully replaced my La Roche-Posay gel with this one, and I haven’t noticed any negative effects at all. It has been maintaining my skin just as well as the LRP version did, and I saved 18 bucks!

Didn’t Work for Me, Still Searching
Tried Acne Free Adapalene Gel 0.1% for a while but honestly didn’t see much difference. Might just be my skin — I’m not even 100% sure it’s acne at this point. Gonna keep looking for something that actually works for me.

Love this so far
Tried too many things, then saw Adapalene recommended by a Dermatologist doctor on YouTube. Checked the same product against other YT Derms, then checked Amazon and found an amazing price from this brand. Upon receiving, checked different Derm doc recommendations about applying. This is not a spot treatment; commit to applying to full face daily with moisturizer. Love this so far. I've had only 1 small pimple occur in a shaving area, and it passed in days. Holding out long term for anti-aging benefits as this is a true retinoid. Make sure to follow your doctor's advice or a trusted online Dermatologist about application.
