Men's Microfiber Classic Golf Jacket

Great jacket. Lightweight. Wonderful fit and feel. Sleek enough for a nice restaurant, casual enough for the grocery store. Cuffs are ribbed and will keep the wind out and body heat sealed in. Solid looking zipper and inner pocket is deep enough for a large smartphone (LG V20). Tried an OR goose down vest underneath and the combo is perfect; it's warm, wind and rain resistant, and you don't look like you've wandered in from the back country. I ordered a XL black golf jacket by The Weatherproof Company. I'm 6'3" and about 210 lbs. For comparison, my dress shirt size is 16 1/2-35. I normally wear an XL in a jacket like this. RESULT-this XL fit perfectly. Some jackets are a little short in the back for me, but not this one, it was just right. The look of this jacket is more crisp (not limp or wrinkly) than two other similar jackets I own by London Fog and Polo. There is one inside pocket on the left side that has a zipper. Also, next to this inside pocket is a small pocket for a pen. The two outside pockets are single pockets, each with a hidden snap. Bottom line: For this price, this jacket is better than I expected. I will likely order another in a different color.

This is my second Weatherproof jacket in this same style. I had the first one for ...I can't remember how long...must be 10 years. Only bought this new one because I left it at a golf course while on vacation. It's a great golf jacket. Fits great, plenty of room in the shoulders so as not to inhibit the swing. Good wind/water repelling. Wears like iron. Cleans great in the washer/dryer. And a very good price. I could not find this jacket in department stores. (I think I bought the first one at Macy's.) Could only buy it online. Amazon delivered in 3 days (for a small extra fee over their standard shipping price).

Like a lot of other reviewers of this jacket, I bought it to replace one that I bought -oh, I don't know, many years ago - maybe 10? 20? It's been so long I forget. I've worn it so long that it's gotten slick around the neck and the liner is literally falling apart, although it still looks good if you don't look too close. My old jacket is Navy-colored. This one is Willow color and looks just as good. However, the inside of the jacket and the pockets were lined with a very nice cotton in the original and now the lining is a polyester blend that doesn't have that wonderful feel to it. Also the big 'Weatherproof 'tag in the back now is made of something coarse that irritates my back and neck a little as I put the jacket on. It also used to say "made in Guatemala" on the tab, but that has been deleted. Can anyone say "China"? It looks really good and I plan on keeping the jacket and wearing it often, but have deducted one star because they cut quality. I would pay more for the better lining.

An old classic made even better! I had one of these in black a few years ago until it wore out. This updated version seems to be made even better. The older model seemed to billow out somewhat but this version fits much better. Nice banded bottom to keep out the wind and rain. Good amount of warmth without being too warm. Very nice styling. My jacket did not come with the bit of material tied to the zipper pull, as shown in the stock photos (I would have removed it anyway). Good zipper and zipper pull with a bit of heft, does not feel flimsy at all.

overall the jacket is ok, but i probably won't use the zipper. when zipped up the lower area above the waistband is quite 'blousy', as someone else stated in their review. I'm 6' with 42" chest and 34" waist. the sleeve length could be a bit longer as well.

Navy blue...Nice looking, light weaight unlined jacket. Nicely made. Nice fit. Nice soft material. It fits just as it should...A-2 style jacket fit with a wide waistband. Just what I was looking for. I wear mine with jeans and a t-shirt under it most of the time, but it is roomy enough to .wear a shirt and sweater under it and nice looking enough to wear with slacks. The wide waistband fits nicely around my waist. It does not look and feel like I am wearing a plastic bag and it does not make me look like I am shaped like a box. Overall I like the jacket and the price is very fair. Size: I have a 48" chest and a 38" waist and 14" biceps . I ordered an XL but I wanted it fit nicely....lay against my body. The XXL also fits but it makes me look heavier and bigger than I am. Order the size you normally wear. I think it runs pretty true to size.

I've owned a jacket just like this for so long that I forget when I bought it, well over a dozen years ago. I've worn it almost continuously in all but the warmest weather with comfort, and on colder days layering underneath was adequate. That jacket is a part of me; it's been through more than I can remember, so when the lining finally ripped in several places, I thought I would lose a friend. When the new jacket arrived this week I was anxious to find out if it was going to be a good thing - and it is even better than I hoped. Over the years my jacket has softened and relaxed. This arrived crisp and expertly stitched and tailored. The zipper is an amazing heavy duty metal one without being obvious or thick; you'll never even know it's there. The pockets have firm snaps, and inside is a nylon-zippered checkbook pocket with a zipper cover, and a nice pen slot, There's even a spare button (the right collar has a button on the backface) in there. The workmanship and quality look great and I think I may have found a new old friend. I absolutely love it and look forward to not having to buy another all-around jacket for quite some time.

sadly it has only 1 size large. therefore it was returned too small.
