Cheap and effective!
We use these pretty often for cutting holes in 14 gauge metal tubing. We used to used the Harbor Freight bits, but had to get a $50 Irwin in a pinch. I never went back to the HF bits. Though expensive, they were well worth the money with how long they lasted, but I saw these mean looking mother blankers one day and decided to try it just based on the look, reviews, and freakin price. I've only cut about 30 half inch holes with the middle sized one but it shows no signs of slowing down. Its at least as fast as the Irwin and definitely cuts better. My advice is to hold on to the drill at about midway and not much pressure, she cuts hard and fast. Also, a bit more advice, I like to keep a bucket of water and spin the bit around about every three holes. Keep em cool, and they should stay sharp. Yall stay safe now!

I'm an electrician and step bits come in handy a lot. Most stores sell these for about $50 for just the big one, so I wasn't expecting much at this price, but the bit became unusable after the first use while drilling a half inch hole to a three quarters in a 4" square box. Another guy on the job site experienced the same thing with his.

For the price, these things are amazing. I go through step bits quickly working hvac, whether they get lost or break. These have lasted a long time and for the price, they are great. The thinnest of the three broke rather quickly but the middle size still had stayed sharp throughout the year I've been using it. Exceeded my standards!

Great quality drill bits
Great quality drill bits. Work well with my dewalt impact driller. The only disappointment I had was that the middle size has the same gradient as the bigger one, it is just shorter, so in fact you can always use the bigger one unless its a really tight spot. But still - the set works well and does the job and doesn't cost too much.

EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY
In 2mm carbon fiber I didn't even finish the hole before the bit went dull. Tip: High quality step bits are expensive for a reason so look elsewhere

These bits are quite good for the price
These bits are quite good for the price. Cuts plastic like butter. Even cuts stainless steel to a point... made it to about the 5th step on the largest one before overheating and ruining that step, but for mild steel I'd say it would work fine.

Good product but I wish it came with a plastic case to hold them in vs the plastic bag that comes with this product.

Sharp!
Used to cut a hole on a fire safe steel box, and it cut in like cutting butter. I tried all 3 on it, sharp!
