After snapping a bolt in a alloy head I had the option to remove the head and replace it or try and drill it out and use a helli coil, so I ordered this kit and got to say it worked a dream, 1- reasonble price 2 - decent quality 3 - cost effective Only thing to say is make sure the hole your drilling out is 100% straight as there's no try agains

Excellent product. Got me out of a bind nicely. Everything was sharp and worked well. Though I was going into an ally case.

Brilliant little kit, got me out of a spot of bother when I found out that one of my engine cover bolts had stripped the thread from the main crankcase. Really easy to use, and did the job perfectly. It would be nice if there was a tool included for the thread taps, hence the 4 stars instead of 5 but then again, you imagine most people would already have a tap and die set or at the very least, you could use a cordless drill set on slow. Overall, a really great little kit to have in the garage, just in case.

My Mitsubishi outlander injector thread gone which is m6 , I bought this tool kit and it works perfectly.

Well I bought this kit to repair a thread on the engine casing of my lambretta and as far as a cheap kit goes, it’s pretty good though the one thing it lacks is a handle for the tap. I was lucky as I had a tap and die kit but others may not be so lucky. Otherwise good kit so far!

Fixed my stripped m8 threads in a cast aluminium bracket no problem. Great value and worked much better than i expected.
