Mini Sharps Bin (1 Pack) (Yellow)

I have a number of sharps boxes for different durations away from home. I purchased this one mainly for day trips or a weekend away. This is not too big to be bulky yet not too small to accept a number of pen needles I use Novo Nordisk nova pen 4 This will unscrew the needle and drop into the sharps box. I have also emptied this into a larger sharps bin It has a closed point and a locked point. I do not lock this as I want a small re useable sharps box that I can take out for breakfast or dinner etc. ideal piece of kit

Great little sharps bin for travelling for weekends

Perfect size for travel. Feels solid but light. I use a pen which has screw on needles. Can get the needle in without the plastic cap. The close slide is reassuring with a good click. I do worry about sliding it too hard to the locked position.

I used this for my holiday abroad and my weekend trips away and it's perfect! I take Mounjaro with the 4-use pens and the pen needles fit in perfectly BUT they don't fit with the big cap on! I can see quite a few reviews where people are trying to put the needle in the bin with the big cap on and that won't work! These needles come with 2 caps, one bigger and one smaller. Only put the smaller cap back on before putting the needle in the bin and it will work as intended. Great purchase and had zero problems getting it back through customs with the used needles in it.

Quite tricky to clip the needles off the injections, and even then, sometimes you'll find the needle breaks off and is somewhere nearby (perhaps I didn't do it properly, I don't know?) - my family members have seen the needles in different places, nearby to where I tried to clip and bin them into the device. Even more concerning, is that despite carrying it in my medication bag, many of the needles appear to have somehow got out from the device (perhaps it's the gap to the left of the locking mechanism, despite the locking mechanism being in the 'locked' position) - but I managed to find 5 or 6 needles that escaped, prompting me to do this review. Be careful, and please consider the above risks.

Very good however about small.

Great little travel sharps bin. Great price and fast delivery. The only negative is that it could do with a feature where it semi close’s. I found that during travelling some of the needles came out of the hole as you can’t close it unless you completely close it. I’d still recommend, maybe a little tap over the hole would help.

Ouverture trop petite. On ne peut pas mettre les aiguilles pour les stylos injecteurs. Peut être utile pour les lancettes et bandelettes de glucomètre mais on ne peut le fermer qu’une fois… personnellement : article retourné.
