It's hard plastic not tempered glass
The product description says tempered glass. It's not. It's hard plastic and came with scratches when I opened it although description said scratch resistant. I have sent it back.

High quality cutting board that is easy to clean!
Cutting board quality: Amazing quality! Very durable cutting board. It is not super thick but I have used it for months and never worried about anything creating it. Slip resistance: There are rubber pieces on the bottom that keeps it from moving while using and helps it stay in place on your counter. It is easy to clean and run through the dishwasher! Love this product.

Durable and Stylish
I love this cutting board, it is so easy to clean, and I can see things under it. Its not obtrusive on a counter top, so you can have it out without changing the whole look of your place. Its been sturdy despite cutting on it many times, and the feet hold up. I run it in the dishwasher without issue.
